LOL

People will justify anything as long as its to THEIR purpose.......

its ok for the OWSers to call for robbing the bankers and corporations........but any other kind of robbery is a crime

Can you link me to where there is an official call to rob the bankers and corporations?

Cheers

Add rape to the robberies

Here in Cleveland
An “Occupy Cleveland” protester tells police she was raped in her tent over the weekend.

Cleveland police are investigating an alleged sexual assault incident Saturday at the “Occupy Cleveland” rally involving a 19-year-old female student from Parma.

According to police reports, the 19-year-old student was instructed by “Occupy Cleveland” personnel to “share a tent with the suspect due to a shortage of tents.” The suspect identified himself as “Leland” to the woman. The woman told police that after she had thought the suspect went to sleep in his own bed, she slept in a sleeping bag provided to her by the rally.

Side Note: I know some of you will appreciate this

They may sleep in the park, but they eat like kings.

Hundreds of grimy protesters laying siege to Wall Street and stuffed into the now-smelly Zuccotti Park dine each night on gourmet meals prepared by a former hotel chef using only the finest organic ingredients.

“We’re running a five-star restaurant down there,’’ crowed Eric Smith, 38, the ex-le Chef de Tournant at the Sheraton in Midtown, who works out of a soup kitchen in East New York, Brooklyn, churning out the meals for more than 1,000 protesters every day.

“The other day, we made some wonderful salmon cakes with dill sauce and some quinoa salad and a wonderful tomato salad with fennel and red onion,’’ he said.

So last night, for example, while your family of four may have been forced to resort to Hamburger Helper, thanks to Smith’s culinary magic, hordes of Occupy Wall Street protesters instead feasted on organic chicken, spaghetti Bolognese, roasted beet and sheep’s milk-cheese salad and wild heirloom potatoes.

The OWSers are eating like billionaires. However, it creates a big problem like that of feeding stray cats. They never want to leave and will even try to enter your home to get what they want. Especially when the food stops flowing.
Wow! I wonder who is paying for the Chef's services. That's a lot of work and a lot of time.

This OWS thing has completely confounded me until now, I read this and a lightbulb went off in my head finally. Why would anyone bust their as# at a 9 to 5 job, pay a morgage and stay at home with your fat wife and screaming bratty kids when you could be camping, sitting around hanging out with people, having someone cook you an awsome meal for free everyday and bang hot teenage college girls every night? I finally get it, I think I can get on board with THAT! Stop stealing from eachother OWSers, your ruining the party dude!

If only half of what you said was true, we wouldn't need to worry about numbers and this whole effort would reach and bust right past the tipping point for change by the end of the month. You're forgetting the long night hours of bitter cold in a wind just strong enough to rob warmth.....or the constant underlying threat of police action at EVERY location which isn't on private property AND protected politically.

I know it's hard to imagine for most what being in a homeless population without the structure and enforcement framework of the shelter systems is, but lemmie tell ya, it isn't the easy time it sounds like. It's manageable, but party is about the last word that comes to mind as I'd imagine other overnight occupiers would agree here.

Even sleep is a challenge as that many people living in that close of quarters has some form of drama happening nearly 24/7.

If folks don't like how things look come down and join a GA to suggest changes. Anyone right off the street is welcome and can participate. That is an interesting proposition in a place like Zuccotti park for a number of reasons...but most aren't pseudo cities with a population exceeding many American towns.

In general, please join and be part of the solution rather than standing on the sidewalk having great laughs as part of the problem.
