I recently downloaded Earth Alerts. It's kind of a nuisance in a way because it keeps popping up every few minutes. If you're trying to keep up with earthquakes, volcanoes and such; it probably is good software to have.

If you're interested here's the download link

Hopefully we'll get an update soon. I just hope everyone is ok over there. I've never personally experienced an earthquake, but my wife tells me they can be quite frightening at times, even without mass destruction.

Mine works fine, except for the program version update function. I'll probably have to uninstall this version and reinstall the update.

yeah im sure we'll hear soon, png is densley populated and prone to land slides. and obviously tsunamis.
neither have i, as bad as it sounds and i dont mean to offend those who have been in one but ive always wanted to experience one..would be pretty humbling to feel the ground at your feet shake like that.

Looks like it's been downgraded to a 6.0. I'm going to bed, so if anyone has an update, please advise...
