Just got done watching Ron Paul and Wolf Blitzer on CNN discussing his plan to cut 1 trillion dollars from the US budget in the first year. Wolf went on to ask him about the assassination plot. Ron Paul tells it like he sees it, calls it war propaganda. He implied that the Obama administration fabricated the plot! This is pretty much what most people I know are thinking about the plot. According to Ron Paul "Iranians are not that stupid." Also, he said "this is the same administration that brought you Fast and the Furious which was fraud".

He is the only source of truth left in our political forum these days. I too believe that it is war propaganda, what say you?

Have to agree with Ron on this one, but what seems worse to me is that it is debatable in the first place.

I beleive Ronnie calls it as he sees it, it does not take a person with a deep political understanding to see that that there is something sinister taking place.

I think most Americans beleive our leaders are capable of committing these TREASONOUS acts under a guise of security and protection...

but I dont think Americans fully understand the scope of the aftermath that will ensue.

Every time Ron Paul opens his mouth he delivers. Even on issues of this caliber he does no smoothtalking but says things like they are

He really is an exceptional candidate

I would like to share a secret with you. When you think about something it becomes conceptual. When you speak about something it becomes reality. Lets forge our future. Ron Paul can win. Say it with me now, RON PAUL CAN WIN!

it's time for people in america and many here on ats to put their money where the their mouths are and vote for ron paul.

unless he's the republican version of obama, who inspires hope and change but in the end he's just a puppet put in place to disillusion the people and the democratic process.

I for one can not wait when Ron Paul becomes president in 2012. It will be refreshing to have a honest politician in the white house for once. Its been way to long.

OT: There goes Ron Paul again making sense. He's got the government and MSM worried.

This is why I'm willing to do anything I can to help get the word out about this guy. Honestly, in my brief time of being on this Earth, I have never felt so compelled to get out and spread a candidate's message across as many people as i know. My entire facebook has turned into a Ron Paul telethon lol.

It's a sad time that we live in. My sentiments echo that of one of the previous posters in that I believe a lot of Americans understand that our government and politicians are fully capable of these treacherous acts. However, I don't think the majority of Americans take into consideration the end result of allowing these crimes to go without standing up and voicing our opinions. Somewhere behind our smartphones, high definition televisions, reality shows, facebooks, fast food, we've really lost a lot of who we are. We've lost our communities, our physical relationships, our youth, and our powerful voices. They've succeeded in keeping us in our houses, scared of ridicule for voicing our opinions and scared of their imaginary power over us.

I think Ron Paul is truly a man of the people and honestly isn't that what we need? Sure it's going to take more than one man to fix every problem our country faces but I'm all for steps in the right direction. It always starts with one.

And sure OWS may not have it all right but aren't we better off with them in our streets? I mean, look at what OWS was when it first started: a couple hundred people camped out in New York City. But now look at the movement and how many Occupys are occupying around the world.

Like Sam Cooke said, it's been a long time coming but I know a change gonna come.

He is a politician though. "Iranians are not that stupid", fine, but does he have prove it was war propaganda? Might as well have been a sting. If it wasnt then an naturalized American citizen is in the can for a crime he did not commit. However I am guessing they did drop out the net and one of the in country (ex)Iranians bit and was willing to hire an assassin, for monetary gain or because he really does not like the saudis.

Who knows, maybe they tried many such stings and he was the one who bit.

He is a representative, not a senator.

I am not convinced that he is corruptable. I think if he were elected, he would work to bring us back to the constitution. Would he be successful? Probably not, unless the same voters were to vote out every encumbent and give the new House and Senate a mandate to end corruption. Do I see that happening? No, I'm sorry, my reality check says that we will probably get 4 more years of Obama. That can't be any worse than 4 years of somebody from the other side. Meh, they are all the same.

What ticks me off is Wolf had charts showing how many people would lose their jobs if the 5 Depts. are eliminated. How come he couldn't have a chart showing the reduction of the national debt that would happen. Also how are we going to pay those people when the money runs out?? I really hate the MSM.

I like ronnie but if he's so honest, why won't he tell the truth about 911?. Like every member of congress he has known for 10 years it was an inside job, but he won't speak out on it. HIs popularity would soar if he would.

he won't speak out all that much about it because it's a death trap for politicians...plain and simple...so I don't blame him...

Here's a video link to Ron Paul's ''Budget Plan to Restore America" Press Conference, held at 6 PM EST tonight. I was fortunate enough to view it live! There's a question and answer period afterwards, but his campaign staff erred and didn't bring extra mics...you can hear Paul's answers, though, and can basically figure out from his responses what questions were asked.

A lot of people will say, 'Cutting a trillion dollars in one year? That sounds radical,'" Paul said in a speech at The Venetian resort and casino in Las Vegas. "I operate on the assumption that the radicals have been in charge way too long."

www.theatlantic.com...

The only problem with Ron Paul is that he makes too much sense.

Seriously why aren't more people supporting Paul ?

Ron Paul 2012!!

I dont think it would help his election thats why he does not speak out about it. Not everyone who supports Ron Paul necessarily looked into 911.
