Not according to the media and the Democrats they make it sound as if nearly every American is unemployed, if so
Every day I go to work and I see the millions of people (unemployed) in their new and fairly new cars blocking the highways (gridlock) for hours, and
around 4:00 PM these same millions get back in their cars and block the highways again, headed to their new homes, and not so new homes that are being
built on every available inch of ground there is. These thousands of new sub-divisions are eating up farmland at an incredible rate.
I travel and I find the same thing going on in every city I go to. Gridlock on the highways, and homes in every price range being built as if there
was no tomorrow.
Strip malls and major malls, restaurants and office buildings, major road construction for the burgeoning cities. When will it all end?
All those millions of unemployed sure have this economy jumping---and when I take the family out to eat Its always a two hour wait to get in---all
them darn unemployed people clogging up the highways and then they have the nerve to go out and eat at the hundreds of new fancy restaurants that pop
up every month, and making me wait in line!
I dont like to shop at the malls but now and then the wife talks me into it---its insane all them darn unemployed are at the malls---spending
money----where are they getting all this money? Malls must be making money because I see massive malls going up all over the place---and people
filling them, are alien (UFOs) behind this? Dropping people off with lots of money to spend into our cities?
PSIn the last three years under Bush according to the homebuilders association, more than six million units of housing have been built and sold, and
the demand in some places can not be met.
This year over two million housing units are or will be under construction. Commercial construction will add billions of square feet to the American
landscape this year.
We need to do something about all this unemployment before America runs out of land to build on!
Perhaps the Democrats have not been truthful about the state of the economy.
