"The Iranian nation does not need educated articulate plans of murder. Murder is your thing," said Ahmadinejad, speaking at the Iranian Parliament, The Iranian President's remarks were reported by the official news agency, IRNA.

"They unilaterally announce charges against a resident (Iranian) in the United States, without providing documents, and create a media campaign against Iran that has no legal basis," the Ministry said.

For Iran, Washington should have consulted Tehran about its suspicions. "But the U.S. government ignored the express request of the Islamic Republic which it did, against international conventions," says the statement.

A reminder that the west, the United States and Israel in particular, have accused Iran of plans to produce nuclear weapons, which Iran completely denies. Iran is a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, while Israel has refused to sign the treaty, and is also in possession of a large nuclear stockpile itself, remaining completely unchallenged.

Article source

So, this is the opposite side of the story that we in the West are hearing from mainstream media sources. It is difficult to know who to believe.

The MSM has definitely demonized Iran while Iran continuously denies any nuclear-proliferation or assassination attempts on U.S. soil

While the U.S. assassinates it's own citizen on Yemeni soil and both the U.S. and Israel have nuclear stockpiles.

There is just a wee-bit of "wtf" going on here and I don't think this can end well.

As an American, I support our country and allies but I really believe there is something going on that I am not being made aware of. It is difficult to support actions that are not made transparent.

This whole business is fishy...

Thoughts?

Really?
Do you want to compare statistics?

I really don't think they did it, and this is coming from an American. On the other hand, what better way to preoccupy people, justify ungodly military spending, and have a sudden boost to the economic numbers than to start WW3? This is the card trick they've been holding until people finally get angry enough to start protesting.

Major wars lead to quick economic recoveries. It's what got us in the U.S. out of the Depression, and it's what's gonna get us out of this.

It may be what gets us out of our current situation, but I think the end results of this one will be a global socialist rule.

Yeah, Ahmadinejad is a real saint and his regime is a guiding light for all humanity.

That's why the bulk of the population of Iran is so desperate to overthrow their corrupt, fundamentalist, totalinarian regime. Unfortunately, as a result of past experiences, they are afraid of being shot on site if they form a protest to voice their opinions.

This is exactly the sentiment culled by the MSM. Have you been to Iran? Have you spoken to the people? How do you know for certain that the Iranian people want to overthrow their government?

Did the media tell you? I'll be it did.

Here's an easy one then 9pop quiz style):

in the last 10 years, how many distant, poor, foreign nations have we invaded and have Iran invaded?
how many foreign civilians have the two relevant parties killed in the last 10 years?

Mahmoud has been spot on lately

I can't wait until his next UN speech. It's about the only time anyone ever speaks the truth over there.

It's pretty simple.

Who has killed more people in the last Decade or two....IRAN or the USA ?

We are actually killing people in Afghanistan and Iraq at this very moment due to depleted Uranium munitions used there...

the Half Life of Depleted Uranium-235 is ....700 Million years. Less for depleted Uranium .....

But Don't believe me ....simply look at the birth defect rate that they are currently experiencing in Iraq.

We are the masters of killing and Genocide....simply ask a Native American....if you can find one outside of an "Indian Reservation"....

PEACE

Really?

I suppose the riots a while back were because Iranians loves him so much.

Granted, neither side is peachy. Get your head out of the sand and face reality.

US war mongerring is just as true as Iran's totalitarian state.

Nothing is fine and dandy anywhere in the world.

US has MSM, Iran has Fars.

Try attacking the points brought forth based on facts, instead of attacking the source.

So Iran is a bastion of freedom because they have not directly gone to war lately.

Brilliant logic.

No. But claiming you're the bastion of freedom because you kill people in the name of freedom is a little warped....

I read the article and had to wonder just how badly mistranslated or how taken out of context it was.

Just look at

"The Iranian nation does not need educated articulate plans of murder. Murder is your thing," said Ahmadinejad, speaking at the Iranian Parliament, The Iranian President's remarks were reported by the official news agency, IRNA.

It seems like, "What you think we plan? No. We just say, go shoot / blow up this guy and we'll give you money if you survive."

Or:
(Said with heavy sarcasm

"You're kidding right? Does this amateur overly convoluted plan look like something we'd run with? It's like you are saying that we're stupid and we don't have the skills to make an educated articulate plans for murder? Like we'd hire some car salesman and say, "Murder, is [now ]your thing. Go forth and do it."

Maybe I'm reaching a bit, but this whole 'terror plot' smells.

M.

That is exactly the way this should have been handled.
