Seems the battle to kill Big Bird and PBS has been going on a while now. The Republicans have been trying to cut the budget for Public Broadcasting for many years. The left have used Big Bird from the Sesame Street muppet series as a example of what PBS offers on its line up.
journalstar.com...
coloradoindependent.com...
So the battle has been turned into Republicans want to kill Big Bird. Just recently Sesame Street mask were used to protest Rupert Murdoch at a speach in San Francisco.
itn.co.uk...
So what do the Republicans do in retaliation to this they hack Sesame Street and change videos into porn for children to see.
www.pocket-lint.com...
So when is going to far even a thought among Republicans? I can't see this as something a person who supports Christian values doing! But then again the new hero of the Republicans and Tea Party is Ayn Rand.
Ayn Rand on Religion.
www.youtube.com...
So in conclusion they are not Christians and have no Christian morals to speak of. They do what ever it takes to reach thier end goals even if it means attacking children. Seems this attack was meant to attack two birds with one stone so to speak. Big Bird and Anonymous hackers who are helping OWS(Occupy Wall Street).

Another youtube user admitted to the hacking and porning.
So Unless he just admitted to criminal acts for no reason, I don't understand why it's being blamed on the republicans.

I must apologize for doubting you, but you make a pretty bold statement in your headline, yet there is no evidence to support it. You can guess all you want, but I hope you have some evidence tucked away to support that claim. Please present it to us.

Here is some links between Rupert Murdoch, News Corp and their prefered childrens networks that people might not know about. I guess you would have to look at his advertising arm to do it News America Marketing. Seems this company has a partner which is AOL. And I will paste a quote for you from CEO of AOL.

searchengineland.com...

AOL CEO Tim Armstrong: “The Model Is Disney”

It’s been roughly 100 days since Tim Armstrong was named CEO of AOL in anticipation of a spin-off/IPO of the company from corporate parent TimeWarner later this year. There are a slew of interviews out this morning in which Armstrong assesses his first 100 days, the state of the business and gives some indications of where AOL is headed.

Among the highlights:

AOL sees content and its display ad network reach as its primary strengths
It will have many brands built on more unified platforms that simplify the back end
The new AOL will be divided into the following areas (per AdAge): content production, the display-ad network, local information and services, communications and AOL Ventures
Armstrong gives mixed signals but suggests that when the Google search partnership deal is up next year, he’ll shop it to others (read: Microsoft/Bing).
The ISP business won’t be separated from AOL after all
Bebo is “in a very competitive space” (read: AOL paid too much, it’s struggling and must find a more effective strategy)

And if you think this guy has nothing to do with Rupert Murdoch, News Corp he is with AOL. Maybe you should look at his connections. How about Interactive Advertising Bureau. IAB Australia's board members include , News Corp. Digital Media formerly known as Fox Interactive Media.

They seem to be targeting the competition of Disney with attack articles. Such as Sponge Bob Square Pants is bad for your children. Sponge Bob Square Pants is Nickelodeon's highest rated show. Or how about the targets of Bert and Ernie who are popular puppets on Sesame Street. They even had Bert become part of the Taliban as a way to demonize the character.

Oh you think this is grasping at straws. Well lets take a look at a hit piece on Ernie. Poor guy!

VLC stands for The Virtual Learning Consultant. So how does that link to Rupert Murdoch? Well you have to look at one of his recent business deals. He tried to buy his way into the schools in New York with Bill Gates. They want to get rid of teachers and replace them with Virtual Teachers. One teacher can teach many classes of students. (Hint the reason teachers are protesting him).

And if yu think the advertising company is not up to hacking people. Then read this about their past law suit and cover up.

This Murdoch headache has been a decade in the making. In 1996, a New Jersey start-up company, Floorgraphics (FGI), was created to sell large advertising decals placed on the floors of grocery stores. In 1999, FGI's founders met with Paul Carlucci, CEO of News America Marketing, an in-store advertising division of News Corp. At lunch, after FGI founders rebuffed Carlucci's offer to buy the company, Murdoch’s man allegedly threatened to “destroy” FGI.

Years later, FGI executives discovered the company’s’ secure website had been broken into nearly a dozen times in a three-month period and confidential information had been obtained. They alleged Murdoch's marketing company was spreading lies about FGI and using its proprietary information to steal away clients.

After failing to convince Chris Christie’s team at the New Jersey U.S. Attorney's office to pursue the hacking charges, FGI filed a civil lawsuit. In preparation of the trial, FGI hired forensic examiner Luke Cats to review the internal investigation News Corp. conducted to find out who the hackers were. Cats’ report concluded News Corp.’s investigation was completely lacking.

They have been doing these things for a long time now. But now it seems our kids are being put on the front lines of the attacks.

And how about that darling Sarah Palin and her catch phrases and little quirks that tried to win the Ameican hearts and minds. What would you say if I told you they come fom Disney's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. If you ever watch this progra you will see all her trade mark moves. "You Betcha" seems

And the guy who was said to have vacked this site denies it. And you also have to question why would he paste all his information on a site he illegally hacked? That sounds like a setup to me.

From the article I posted earlier.

www.pocket-lint.com...

It is believed that the attack on the Sesame Street channel was undertaken by an anonymous hacker in order to carry out revenge or a prank on MrEdxwx, a YouTube regular who posts gameplay videos. His name was even posted on the altered site as the author of the new content.

Since the hack, he has been inundated with comments on his channel both damning and praising the attack. It has led him to post the following statement (in video form): "I did not hack Sesame Street. I am an honsest (sic) youtuber. I work hard to make quality gameplay videos. AND MOST IMPORTANT I RESPECT COMMUNITY GUIDELINES."

The actual hacker has not come forward. And, we suspect, never will.

So do you have a different guy who admitted to hacking the site? Im sure the cops would like to know about that.
And you can go here and see a message he has posted.

This article shows a picture of the message left.
