Frankly I don't think any of this will happen because I believe Congress and Obama would have to have balls of steel to even attempt action against Iran, simply because of American views. The man promised to get us out of Iraq and Afghanistan and yet we are in more conflict than ever before. If we (the US) did in fact get involved in more conflicts you can bet they would try and re-enact the draft, because there is frankly no one left to fight. I have friends in the military and some of them have been on 5 or more tours already!

What I would HOPE to see happen is that things simply cool off. We tell Israel if they want to go after Iran go ahead, but it will be without our support. We need to STOP getting into all these stupid conflicts for no reason. There is ZERO benefit to us as a nation. Only to a select few and of course to that troublesome little country who is our "greatest ally".

I saw that coming the governments need the whole look over hear to avoid the loss of power there about to face. The people are fed up across the globe with the endless wars and corruption in every branch of governments. Don't worry a pointless war will change your view Obama wants his 2nd term and he thinks this will get it for him. IMO we should abandon Isreal and let the reap what they have sown for the last 60 years. I can see this getting bad since Iran has some nice new missile's from Russia and China to protect there air space. This isn't going to be like Iraq in the first war where we jump in when there troops are spread thin or the 2nd when sanctions left there equipment out dated and broke. They have been buying near top of the line weapons from Russia and China for years.
I am American and i am having a hard time with what the whole beef with Iran is really about. Let me guess they have oil. Sure they can make nukes but that isn't a large concern they would need 40-50 years and testing to make one that would be a concern. Its a little harder than slamming 2 80 lbs balls of uranium together in a aluminum tube like they tough back in school 20+ years ago. I bet they don't touch on nuke physics anymore.
Sad that we have been invading the starting spots of civilization over the last 10 years what are we looking for. Afganistan had the Arians ( far northern part near Turkmenistan) Iraq had the summerians and so does iran. Most will just shrug it off as nothing but its kinda fishy and i can't put my finger on it.

I follow your line of thought and it makes sense, but what of those places the US has not targeted that hold greatly ancient civilizations and their remains? The Indus Valley? All the sites in Turkey that are at LEAST 10,000 years old? No invasions or even war hawk wing-flapping.

They usually send the ground troops out to the lake here in MH-47's and drop em in one spot, so they can march through the woods, and get picked up in another spot.

The terrain near my house, where they do these drills is nothing like you would see in Iran, so who knows what they are really training for.

I don't hope for a war with Iran.... Not that I fear losing, because thats the last thing I would worry about with them.... but I do worry that it will escalate, and bring more and more countries into it.

All the people saying they hate America should rephrase it a bit.... You really hate the American Government.... Its people are not running this country... heck, I didn't vote for over 98% of who is in office, but I am judged by their actions.

I don't judge the French because they haven't won a war..... I don't judge Muslims as a whole because they have a radical sect that likes to kill people in the name of Islam... Why should we Americans be judged as a whole for who is in office? Judge me for my beliefs, and not the beliefs of others - THANK YOU!
