I don't particularly support Cain, mainly due to his involvement with the Federal Reserve, but his plan will make some of the poorer pay their taxes like the rest of us do. Fairness and equality for all.

I have no idea what you are talking about. 9% of nothing is....wait for it.....NOTHING. If you have no job, you have no income, and you pay no income taxes.

You know what is truly hilarious is in this thread people are outraged that someone asks the govt to pay more and in other threads the same people will be outraged that many don't pay their fair share.

It's only fair to raise taxes if they aren't me. It's only fair to give handouts if they come to me. It's like listening to my 4 year old and 2 year old.

They found that the proposal would raise taxes on 84 percent of households -- and, broadly speaking, those 84 percent of households would be the bottom 84 percent. A family in the bottom 20 percent of the income distribution can expect their tax bill to rise by more than $1,600. A family smack in the middle will be paying will be paying $3,238 more. It's not until you get to households making more than $200,000 that you begin to see tax cuts. If you're in the top one percent, your tax bill will drop by $307,000. The top 0.1 percent? So in the end we end up paying 29 cents on every dollar for taxes. or 29 dollars for every 100 dollars... or 8700 on 30,000 bucks.

999 isnt something that the people need, Cain's 999 doesnt create jobs it puts a Tax incress on the american people, just like our HST taxes do.

It claimed they would be 8% to 9% but in truth they are bit higher then that.
