Dont see the other protestors sending their thoughts across like this..Stupid chanting and people walking around clueless. Over half the OWS and protest crowds are just passers by looking to see what the buzz is about.

Now we see who the real "sheeple" are the ones that sit back and let others do the hard work for them as they cant be bothered to think.

Unless this guy is a plant.. Seems his shirt didn't fit him that well, maybe he served a while back as he did say 14months.

Sure, you can talk about him being a soldier, but really, it's about a veteran getting mad at the cops. It's not about whether he did or did not serve ( He did). It's not about whether or not his uniform fits him ( It does).

It's about a soldier getting mad at the cops for attacking unarmed civilians. And frankly, I don't care what name you call the guy. Like I said, it is not about the man, it is about his words!

What he said is right. It takes a coward to attack unarmed civilians.

Now, does that make me a tool? If so, so be it.

That said, I can and will reply to anyone I like. Like you said, I will have my conversation and you can have yours. Mine just happens to point out that his words are what is important. Not his service or uniform.

We'll see then you'll all tell stories of brilliance to your young ones saying you were there and that you made a difference when really you did not.

This veteran knows how change comes and i got nothing against these guys as these guys are men of action. Unlike the rest and if you are on about the nyc police battering the protestors on the 5th or something. I've seen it a million times nothing comes from it except a good battering normally for the normal folk!

Hmm, not sure what combat zones you have been to, but that also raises the question of whether or not you were a fobbit or something of that nature. As far as thinking you know what the Army is allowed to do, that statement makes it clear that you have never been to Afghanistan or a real warzone. Correct wear of the uniform completely goes out the window there. So unless you really know what you are talking about, please don't take shots at me. This is about the fact that it is wrong for police to harm innocent civilians, not about whatever you want to make it out to be. If you can't agree with anything then stop reading this thread just to disagree with and attack people.

Thomas comes from a long line of people who sacrifice for their country: Mother, Army Veteran (Iraq), Step father, Army, active duty (Afghanistan), Grand father, Air Force veteran (Vietnam), Great Grand Father Navy veteran (World War II). The important thing is that he could not believe what he seeing in his own country. He risked his life and served honorably to defend American freedoms, only to return and see American rights and freedoms being trampled on in his own country. The vid has gone viral, get used to it.

I would love to see many more veterans show up at the protests and do the same thing as this guy.

All this protesting is keeping the economy from growing, and its preventing people from actually going out to look for work. Once they vote in the Democrats they want, purpose behind "OccupyWallStreet", we will have another run-away government in place. Obamacare is the first of many-many-many mandates and regulations, which Obama, Congressional Democrats, and "OccupyWallStreet" will shove down everyone's necks.

Regardless about what is listed in their manifesto, the primary and sole function of "OccupyWallStreet" is to get Obama and other world Democrat politicians re-elected.

"TeaParty" - grassroots movement hijacked by the Republican Party. "FoxNews" now controls the deflated movement's message.

"OccupyWallStreet" - hijacked and controlled by the Democrat Party. Ad Busters, creator and copyright holder of the name "OccupyWallStreet", is a left-leaning socialist magazine from Canada.

We have been down this road before. Unless the movement comes out against both the Democrats and Republicans, I will never-ever consider them to be independent and leaderless.

Try as you might, this has nothing to do with Democrats. It has to do with EVERYONE. They are not a political group and have been taken over by no one... Unless you think the US democrats control those Asian protestors, those European protesters... The Republican protestors and on and on and on.

So, no.... It's not. The movement has made it clear they are not affiliated with any political party. This is NOT a political movement. This is a movement of the people. Unless you can prove that all the people in the world are democrats, what you have said, does not really make sense.

The man is a Vet and an honored hero... The police know better than to mess with this. Not because the guy is big (he's fekken huge".., but because that would turn a lot of vets against them across the country. And when a lot of vets are turned, a lot of currently serving personel will follow suit to support their comrades.

Long time lurker here but I just had to reply to this. Maybe its a bad way to get a first post, but who cares...

Just tell me what exactly changed since last time he was here? Its same # as it was 6, 7 or 8 years ago, is it not? Why did he decide to go all muscular at this moment?

I am not saying that guy is wrong, tho we could argue if he was really deffending his country by going to Iraq or Afghanistan (not saying he was not there, just saying that raiding someones else country so you can spin war money making machine is not defending IMHO).

What I want to say is that I think he went a bit over the top there. I support OWS movement, but in same time I realize it is normal to have police at protests. He acted just like he wanted to be in the center of attention. Line is very small between peaceful protests and riots (like ones that were in London), police just has to be there...
