Not a big surprise from Mr. Federal reserve.

Herman Cain's long ties to Koch Brothers

Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain has cast himself as the outsider, the pizza magnate with real-world experience who will bring fresh ideas to the nation's capital. But Cain's economic ideas, support and organization have close ties to two billionaire brothers who bankroll right-leaning causes through their group Americans for Prosperity.

Cain's campaign manager and a number of aides have worked for Americans for Prosperity, or AFP, the advocacy group founded with support from billionaire brothers Charles and David Koch, which lobbies for lower taxes and less government regulation and spending. Cain credits a businessman who served on an AFP advisory board with helping devise his "9-9-9" plan to rewrite the nation's tax code. And his years of speaking at AFP events have given the businessman and radio host a network of loyal grassroots fans.

Herman Cain dodges question concerning his weak stance on the 2nd Amendment

But he did answer on CNN :

"Cain’s position — that Congress can’t regulate guns but states can — not only places him well to the left of the NRA, it also places him at odds with the Supreme Court."

``States can regulate gun control`` ... right. Like states can ignore the first amendment or the fourth amendment if they think it's good? States cannot ignore the bill of rights if they want to do it.

Cain wrong again...

So is this guy a watered down, electable version of RP? I can't really say I know much about him but the more I hear about him/watch him on interviews the better he is. I think what he means is the states should be able to make their own laws regarding guns such as concealed carry permits and so forth.

Richard Lowrie, Local Wells Fargo Branch Employee, Crafted Herman Cain's '9-9-9' Tax Plan

Herman Cain name-checked Richard Lowrie during Tuesday night's Republican debate on economic policy, and his campaign confirmed to HuffPost that Richard Lowrie Jr., a Wells Fargo employee in Pepper Pike, Ohio, outside of Cleveland, was the official adviser to his campaign who hammered out the "9-9-9" plan. The plan calls for creating a new 9 percent federal sales tax on everything consumers buy, while cutting the corporate tax rate to 9 percent and imposing a flat 9 percent income tax on all wages.

Koch Brothers' funding/takeover of the Tea Party + long history with Cain explains how this has all played out thus far.

Why do you guys think the Tea Party (anti-fed) is in such heavy support of Cain (pro-fed)? Could the Koch Brothers be behind the curtains in all of this?

Anybody voting for Cain must be plain BLIND.
