I spent many years voting and working towards changing the system. Hit a brick wall every time.Mostly because of the lobbiests. Money talks and the rights of the people walks. We have the best government ever bought by special intrest groups.
Once I got tired of beating my head on the brick wall, I gave up and stopped voting. Kind of sad isn't it?

Thanks for your response. I too was influenced by the assination. I was in 4th grade and they interruped class to bring in a television and to tell us what happened. As the years went by I wanted to try to change the system that had caused his death. Unfortunately that isn't how the system works. It's supposed to , but it doesn't. I don't think that I will ever vote again as the vote does nothing to change a broken system.
As a huge supporter of the constitution, I am saddened to see it trampled under the feet of our future tyrants.

Sad ? I don't think that quite does it justice. It's tragic and pathetic, that the human spirit, hasn't come far enough along, that greed hasn't been eradicated from our existence. It's a horrible feeling. The one reason that
kept me from ever voting was the Kennedys assassinations only at first. As I aged, I only saw more reasons to prove me right. Which is a tragedy I have not been able to measure. May freedom prevail.edit on 16-10-2011 by randyvs because: (no reason given)

There may be some editing here but the message is the same. This is what we are all feeling and saying and here it is in a nutshell.
Dylan Ratigan loses it! This is what we all need to be standing for. This is what we are saying. This is what others need to see.
This is about all of us...
Peace
