Looks as though the bankster get away with anything they do. No where in recorded history has "change " came from peaceful protest's. It has never happened. ever. We did not gain independence from the tyranny of British rule by protesting peacefully. It took violence. It may be time to let the banks know we all mean business.

I got some matches. Anybody got some gas? It's time we use the our 2nd amendment rights. Before they take that away too.

No one had to go inside the bank and chant, wear masks etc. I bet that if they wanted to take their money out, and walked in like average, normal people and waited in the lineup, nothing would have happened. Because crap can and does happen in a protest situation, then cops, security, the "other side" in question (citibank here) are already on the defensive. People should have protested outside the bank, and gone in and quietly, UNEVENTFULLY removed their money, or remove it online. THAT would get the bank's attention. All chanting inside the bank does is piss people off and there's no reason it shouldn't.

No, this women should NOT have been dragged into the bank and it's disgraceful, but the pot is being stirred by both sides, and both sides are committing questionable actions.

The gentleman in question is lucky that she was a regular city woman by all accounts and not one of us who was born in the sticks.

Guy would have a rearranged face if she had been...

Wow! Does that guy look like a Citibank employee? If so, it must've been extreme casual dress day there.

I guess that "gentleman" was the classic Citibank goon.
I have a feeling that we will se more of the banks casually dressed employes in the future...

Oh cool.

Since I own a small business, all I need is a couple of security guards to force someone into my house (since I run a home business) from the public sidewalk and lock them inside.

This could be fun.

According to the other thread he is an 'undercover policeman' to use the term loosely. The woman along with another woman, according to the other thread, were allowed to close their accounts and leave. That woman who was hustled back into the bank, was falsely detained, 'The undercover policeman' aka idiot, should have ascertained from the bank that minor detail at least, ie; That the woman over a period of time, (an obvious prerequisite) was allowed to close her account and leave. Not that, "you were in the bank" ...and grab!
If all that is reported is accurate of course. Meh, Then we have handcuff and baton policeman, what is he? an 'effing juggler? and gonna deal with all these pinky, FC, (Fifth columnists
) lefty, righty, in betweeny.... er, bank customers.

This video was posted on the second page of this thread but if you ask me this is one video that definitely deserves it's own thread! I can not believe what I have witnessed in this video. You can bet that they wont be showing this on the mainstream news!

So as you might know people were locked inside Citibank and arrested. They went there to close their accounts but instead they were locked in the bank and arrested. Citibank claims they entered the bank as a large mob screaming and chanting. However, things appear to be very quiet and civilized until the cops show up.

There is a female Citibank customer still outside trying to get her account closed. She is talking to a few guys outside when one of them (a banker maybe?) physically grabs her and begins dragging her into the bank with force. She clearly looks distressed and doesn't understand why she is being physically handled.

At this point the police arrive and they HELP drag her into the bank! Then everyone starts yelling "this is wrong", "shame", "you are disgusting"...I found it highly disturbing. Citibank think they can do what ever they want. They are criminals wearing suits. And the police aren't any better. I bet Citibank is paying them.

what you said is pure speculation, unless a video arises from somewhere this is just another useless but entertaining video.

PS.
Why are Americans pussies?, the amount of abuse i've seen to the OWS protesters is stupid.
If this where anywhere else a revolution would have already began.

I find the constant term "Pussies" offensive as meaning weak! Women are not weak and are often the ones to get things started out there! Bunch of penis's!

yet another way you could title this thread is "Proof, Cops in Pocket of Bankers" we have to use the word proof in the title because we all know how much ATS'ers love that word. To stay on topic this is completely violating peoples rights. When are people going to finally wake up, group together in an organized manner and start fighting fire with fire against authority like this. If I was there, there would have been lots cracked heads under a bunch of blue caps...
I cant stand seeing our innocent citizens being treated this way any longer.

This is strange to me, because in my town, if some guy grabbed a woman and started dragging her anywhere, I and others would of smashed his face into the pavement.. Then he would have been seriously roughed up and made to never forget it as long as he lived...

If cops did this in my town, there would be a lot of cops looking for a new job also, being lifetime friends with the chief of police and all... He doesn't tolerate any unprofessional police conduct, and never has..

This type of thing is something noone should put up with..

So true, but with the Bush laws we no longer even know if we will have an option for a trial or just disapear...we are not in Kansas anymore!

If she was part of the protest group that was inside and left the building, but not the premises, she could still have been considered a trespasser and thus detained, by the undercover cop... Not condoning it, just wondering if that's how it will be slanted.

As a customer if she is not breaking any law..not hitting people or pulling a gun, she has every right to be outside the bank or inside the bank as she pleases. Clearly she was not using a bull horn and causing a public nuisance which is the only thing I could see these "customers" being charged with! That would not come to grabbing and pushing them when they are displaying no violence.

Just to explore the flip side a little...

What would you do if 30 people came chanting into your place of employment all at once and decided to cancel their accounts ? Seriously what would you do ?

Who ever touched that women at the end needs to be terminated though.

edit on 16-10-2011 by R3KR because: (no reason given)

I would cancel their accounts for them...do you know the size of this bank, this is not a lot of accounts and many probably small..why not do the right thing and do business correctly! if you want to close your account you sure should have a right to!

That's not the way my friend, and besides, some of those heads are most likely already 'cracked' Come to think of it, do they still have police canteens in the US, maybe they are putting something in the food?

Well it's probably a mix of all the crap they put in our food and water, the fact that a large chunk of the male population has been feminised and the fact no one really wants to lose all their creature comforts. Unless the revolution happens via PS3 and 360 we probably won't be doing much.

Again with the constant , Females are weak! Women start a lot of the actions that lead to justice we are not weak any more then anyone!
