I don't know that the "shtf" before this site dies off. Either people will finally get bored of the 90 million failed predictions and unsolved theories and youtube dot in the sky "ufos" and move on, or the owners will pass on/go broke etc, or the internet will get censored in some way, or technology will advance to a point where no one is sitting on web forums all day anymore or who knows what else. I mean, mankind has been around thousands of years without too much worldwide doom despite how much people have been predicting it and even wishing for it, it might be hundreds or thousands more years before anything too catastrophic happens and I kinda doubt ATS will last thousands of years lol.

There's a dozen reasons more likely than worldwide catastrophes that this site will end so I think that most likely the last post will be something boring like "Due to lack of funds and interest this site will now be closed down. Thanks for all the fun folks and to all the doom addicts out there, sorry none of the doom predictions ever came true, adios!"
