Like most of you, I enjoy the discussion of alien spacecraft, Area 51 Reversed Engineered craft and the endless talks of "are we alone" so I figured we have some fun and discuss where you would fly your Spacecraft to?

You have built a Spaceship,

If I'd built it why would it be an Alien Spacecraft ?
Sorry couldn't help it

So many places, so little time.

Should I explore my own galaxy first or travel to another galaxy?

I'd probably travel to the edge of the universe and find out what is beyond.

if it was with alien tec then i don,t know but with todays i would go to europa cause i believe if we get there and explore then it could be the one place we could prove that life exists outside our planet.

We can travel together. I'm going to the end of the universe too.

I guess because where ever you flew it to you would be an alien
. I personally would tour the solar system first, get the hang of it, then who knows? Alfa Centari seems logical.

Im still thinking this one over, not sure where I would go first, maybe land at Area 51 so I can see with my own eyes what is there.

That would depend on the quality of my workmanship and the distance my craft could travel , but first port of call would be Mars for a spot of archeology

Good thread and great question.

Very hard indeed to think of the first place to go.

Perhaps try out another dimension first? or simply visit the moon first?

I'd go do what's in Zacharia Sitchen's books. I'd find some primitive people on some planet, convince them I'm a god, teach them stuff, have them build me stuff and worship me. Sounds cruel, but that is honestly what I would do.

I would go to Jupiter and take a peak at what's inside, always wondered what's in there. Seemingly is looks likes lots of clouds and thunderstorms would be an amazing sight, the red spot alone is larger than the earth...

After that I'd go to the nearest star and check out the planets

I would travel for eternity, in a pure straight line, to the edge of the universe (presuming theories are correct).

To see the pure beauty or horror of true abyss.

And that is a big part of the crux of the problem. Time.
If your ship could travel at the speed of light, it would still take more than 4 years to reach the nearest star system.

If you could work out all the logistics of feeding, clothing, removing waste, resupplying oxygen and all your needs for yourself and crew for...say, a decade, and you found a way to carry that much fuel, you may still go stir crazy on the way to the nearest star system.

The only thing you could reasonably explore is our local solar system and 9 planets.
Not the galaxy, not the Universe. Just our Heliosphere.

Wow, Im liking the replies, great destinations. Like some of you i suppose Mars first, see with my own eyes the polar caps and then to Jupiter so again with my own eyes see whats beneath the great eye and yes my craft is built tough so it can withstand space travel!

ah but not if the speed of light is proved a fundamental flaw of physics it isn,t.

Psssssh this is a a space craft I BUILT..

It will go 10x the speed of light!

I'm going to a planet far far away with my 20 women crew (maybe a bad idea)
and find a planet that can sustain human life water and all
and start my own civilization..
