How do you know that these emails are not concocted from the opposition you are in sync with?

I'm glad to hear that someone who is politically affiliated with a particular party has their own mind to look at the positives and negative of both parties. We need more like minded people who are not quick to judge people just because of their political affiliation. Maybe if our politicians would do the same thing, we wouldn't have political gridlock.

i had the same kind of experience visiting a tea party gathering in tucson. it was mostly middle class families concerned about what government and taxes were doing to them, and a fringe of observers looking serious. i videotaped and posted so all could see.
we all need to look and report on these events to cut through the MSM image machine.

Well, of course you're not sure. You don't want to think about the Tea Party being bankrolled by billionaires and what that means... (There's something it in it for THEM - NOT you)

I believe this movement is being engineered to cause social unrest and even riots and revolution.

And that would be a terrible thing? I don't think so. That's historically the way change is accomplished in this country.

It seems to me that people here, for a conspiracy site, are all too willing to trust and follow without asking pertinent questions.

Who is funding this? Who is organizing this? WHY?

All good questions, the answers to which we KNOW about the Tea Party. Koch Brothers, Rupert Murdoch... Why? Power, Control and Profit.

So why should I support this when I am a fiscal conservative?

I'm not suggesting you should. I'm saying that your criticisms of OWS can be directly applied to the Tea Party. That's all.

Not that I disagree with the assertion that some of these billionaires would be supporting it to get more republicans in office that could be malleable to influence. Of that I am certain. But I just don't see where the members of the Tea Party who were elected to office have failed in their mission of fiscal conservatism when there are more than enough republicans of the establishment cloth to counter act them.

Boehner come to mind. and so does Lindsey Graham.

I'm saying that while the billionaires may have been there to provide some money, the ideals have stood the test while the republicans who weren't challenged by the Tea Party have not.

You are undeniable correct. I think that there are people out there who can provide the ideas and resources to rise the phoenix from the ashes. Maybe just maybe that this upheaval is not meant for the powers that be, but more so for the ones that have been shafted by our shadow governments. One thing to keep in mind is that those that form the world today, all have one goal in hand. They all need to agree on set objectives, in short we need to put the right individuals in the same room!

No you never saw that outside of conservative sites and conspiracy theory sites. OWS is not about that.

Also we aren't the "target" for CO2 blah blah. All western civilization is subject to it and you will see a running theme in the type of governments that aren't. What you are saying amounts to a business' right to make production as cheap as possible even if it creates excessive pollution supercedes the right of people to enjoy clean air and water.

That wasn't even the topic I was on, but I had to touch on it to since you brought it up.

It drives me insane man..
Some of these people are literally surgically attached to their party or liberal/conservative ideas.

I myself am mostly liberal, but a gun owner and gun rights supporter. I support universal healthcare, but not Obama or his healthcare plan. I support Ron Paul and hope he breaks the left/right cycle, but don't support all of his ideas.
I support OWS, but hope they start focusing on both Wall Street and the politicians that allow the government to be corrupted by W.S. equally (protest them both!).

So I would consider myself decently bipartisan, but more importantly I align with common sense always.

Hitler himself could lay a thousand dollars on the ground and I could come pick it up and do something good with it. Get what I am saying? You are fighting against something good for an ignorant reason.

You know this is true, because you can't even say you are against what the protestors stand for you have to use that cop out conspiracy theorist "i don't like who is paying them." So who cares who started something cause trouble, you are being fooled into being against something good because how you think it started. Hell maybe they knew a rebellion was on the rise so socialist groups were coerced into funding one to discredit it. Sometimes you have to take things at face value and trust the people on the corner. Not what you read on some conservative site or conspiracy forum. All you need to know is people are on the corner for YOU. They have been int hes streets for 30 days to try to fix a problem in our country.

That is great to hear........I must of missed what town you live in? Here in Joplin, Mo, home of the great tornado..........a occupy group is being organized.

Unfortunately it seems to be building with a moveon.org attitude. I have already been called out as spreading conservative propaganda when I bring up issues concerning the CFR, media and the Fed……….The group here is organizing under the "spread the wealth" attitude..........

That's unfortunate. The movements here are organizing more under the "end conflict of interest between big business and govt" attitude and though we are a small tri city area I think we have the right focus.

It's your job to get out there and try to change their minds. You hold your sign and maybe people will see it and you will have more like minded protestors on the corner.

As with any movement, it starts out slwo and low in numbers, then the numers increase adn the movement gets attention, yet we must remember not everyone believes the same on eaqch and every situation we face each and every day. Of course most people are unaware how deep and meaningful this is to America and the world. I feel this is a human movement changing the system. It will be a long run for this movement to take hold. I expect this to last well into the winter and beyond. I have not had the pleasure of visiting a protest YET, but I am saving every cent I can, I hope to be there before december 1st prepared to stay to the end. Im glad you at least have opened your mind to understand We The People are in a revolution against the system
