Perhaps I am misunderstanding these events. But as I understand it, Occupy began in September - sparked by Adbusters - and then spread across the
globe on October 15.
But then we learn that October15.net was registered in June - well ahead of the spontaneous spread.
Not only that, but the domain was registered to the Ecuadorian Representative to the UN, and billed to 866 United Nations Plaza. A press release
issued on October 18 clarified this, stating that it was not, in fact, the Representative from Ecuador, but was instead her daughter (who used her
Mother's credit card to register the domain.) Shortly thereafter, the whois info was made private.
So it's starting to sound less and less spontaneous the more I learn.
At the very least, a daughter of a UN Rep was planning the spread of this revolution 4 months before it actually happened.
