The Forever One

I’ve seen images of you but not you
I’ve heard your voice through telephone
I’ve spoken to your voice…to your words
But not to your face

I wish we had a private place…in our dreams
A place we would meet every night
A place where I could kiss your face
Smell your scent and feel your body

We could be together for eternity
This place where our souls would collide
Forever…in our dreams
And in between our lives

You would be the forever one

I am in love and want to die
To hide
My love is wrong
I took vows and now want to break them
I'm not someone that hurts people

Love or in love
Big difference
Who am I to hurt someone
Hurt a whole family
Selfish

Ian Curtis had this conflict
He had a wife and a lover
Didn't want to hurt either
So he hurt himself
Killed himself

This is a life conflict
I'm weak

We screwed up this time
Screwed it up big time
In time the blink of an eye
One of many lives
Where we passed
Close but never quite made it
Another time another place
Doesn't erase the pain
Because this time I know

We blew it this time
In a time we don't belong
We long for each other
Trapped by the lives we've built
Built without the other
Guilt over life vs. eternity
