What is happenening to us??

Our president giving another country the ok to start a War with another country? Then sends our troops to a different country than both of those, while we are stationed in every country??? Our people are revolting against our governments and the crooks. But why hasnt any action been taken? Why havent they listened to the #occupytheworld movement. Its not just gonna go away..Its disgusting me that we get law enforcement to get these people to stop their movements being the bullies! why cant we take the time to listen???! We are in no way better than communism, or socialism. at least there is some sort of balance in those.

Events are moving fast. Technology is moving fast. Society is struggling to keep apace. Life has become just another soundbyte to be recorded and stored away. Lend me your ears and I will sing you a song. STOP, you can't sing here - move along.

Technology may be moving forward, but our country and way of live is almost run into the ground, ya know?? Almost a stand still. Science is progress to us, yet we don't do enough of it. Christians say science is false, when its proven. It like pushing your hands against each other;a stand still.

They has been some action in the form of mockery if you watch the news they report that, "the people in the occupy area don't have a clear message" "what do these people want" blah, blah - it's the same tactics they use for people that believe in conspiracies, they try and make you look silly to everyone, make you look crazy and then once people start believeing what the news says, it's just a big joke and it will go away. If they can convince people that the people protesting are silly idiots, the people will relay their message to the protestors. Divide and conquer, let other do their work, their is nothing they have to do, they make you a joke and no one wants to be joke so their will be division amoung the protestors and finally no protestor. This is how they rule divide, and put people against themselves.

There is no clear message?? How about that there is something #ed up? isn't that clear enough to see? They just ignore it. taking the voice away from the people. Why would we have the right to peaceful PROTEST, if our forefathers were like "hey, people might not like it, then they can change it". But now. the people that see the corruption CANT do anything about it, unless you go to college, and by then, you are in the system of it all.

I agree and yes I know the message but the news wants to make them look silly for the reasons above in my last post. There is no "people's voice" there never has been, they put on a show that makes you think you have one to keep you hopeful. Even people in high positions and college educated people don't have a say, if fact the President doesn't have a say, he's just a puppet. It sucks but what can you do...welcome to the matrix

TPTB are afraid of this movement, so much so that they have tried to infiltrate it. Therefore, they are trying to keep it from us by ensuring the MSM does not show images of the events.

For sure, the events will be shown if they become violent. TPTB want it to become violent, so they have an excuse to squash it.

I appeciate there are many different causes involved in the movement, but ultimately it is about voicing our dissent about how the entire economic crisis has been dealt with and is continuing to be dealt with.

Personally, I am disgusted that we have had to bail out these financial institutions over and over again and all the while we are expected to suffer more and more through austerity measures such as pay freezes, additional stealth taxes such as additional pension contributions that are paid directly to the treasury and not into your pension plan, cuts in services, higher inflation, I could go on, but I am sure you get the picture.

Occupy starts in my City tomorrow. I intend to join them for a few hours and get a feel for what it is all about. Personally. Peaceful Non Compliance is the way forward and that is exactly what I expect.

It starts in mine too, and if you look at a thread of mine called "The World is Backwards..." im going to give that speech tomorrow. If we dont have a say, the president doesnt have a say, then who does. The people that run the businesses that make the jobs, that stimulate money, The_phantom had a post called Angry Birds.
