Good idea, However mine is already laminated and despite it saying plain as day " DO NOT LAMINATE" on the back of the card, i did it anyway. LOL cause im a badass out to stick it to the big bad man. Ha. seriously though never had anyone say a thing to me about it.

I'll have to go down to the flea market pick me up a couple of "new" cards, (names and numbers while I'm at it) and try this trick out!
I love how it says on the card "not for identification purposes"... I guess that gives me carte blanche to do what ever I want with it since "they" use my number for almost every possible ID purpose that I can think of.

You know what.........I don't want to know anymore.
You may want to keep your keyboard quiet.

I wouldn't doubt that it was that easy though. Freakin' ridiculous!

I have not seen my SS card in over 30 years and have never been asked for it. What is it needed for? I have opened bank accounts, got a driver's license and passport, and passed a background check for an extremely secure organization, all without ever showing the thing. I did hear once that it is requested if you win a jackpot of over $1200 at a casino, but I've never done that.
