The following is a quote from a message card i found, i thought it was quite a Warm little piece so decided to share'

~Ted

"Death is nothing at all", Death is nothing at all.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
I am i and you are you.
whatever we were to each other, we still are.
Call me by my old familiar name.
speak to me in the easy way you always used.
put no difference in your tone, wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow, laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Let my name be ever the household word that that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effort, without the trace of a shadow on it, life means all it ever meant.
it is the same as it ever was; there is unbroken continuity.
Why should i i be out of mind because i am out of sight?
I am waiting for you,
for an interval, Somewhere very near, just around the corner, All is Well.

And sooooo glad you decided to share such Truth and beauty! Death is really nothing at all and if we have to use a word to define death I think a good word has already been used but worth saying again.

Transformation is what awaits the mind, body and soul.

This was the first thing I read this morning and now with coffee in hand, I am smiling. Thanks!!! xoxoxox

Depends how you die I suppose.

Death would be something if someone gauged your eyes out with a plastic party spoon then set fire to your head. The journey from being alive to death would then not be an experience I would like to participate in.

I lost my Dad unexpectedly a few weeks ago and those were pretty much the same words I used to try and convey that although it's a sad time, death really is the biggest adventure!

To the OP, nice post, making something positive out of things such as death is how this world should operate. Sadly not everyone thinks alike.
