Im sure some of you have probably seen this before, but I ask that you really think about it. For those that have, please don't say anything.

It is time to elect a new world leader, and only your vote counts. Here are the facts about the three candidates. Who would you vote for? Number 1, 2 or 3?
1. Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologist He's had two mistresses. He also chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day.
2.He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in college and drinks a quart of whiskey every evening.
3. He is a decorated war hero. He's a vegetarian, doesn't smoke, drinks an occasional beer and never cheated on his wife.

Sounds like you care far to much about personal drama b.s. I don't care about your sex life, what you smoke, or what you ingest.... Yeah a cocaine addict may not be the best president... but I sure as hell will vote for the best leader, not the one with the cutest smile, not the dude with a bible, not the one that was married to a president... I will vote for the best leader- someone that is for the people, stands by the people, and helps the country as a whole -or not at all.

my choice would've been 2>3>1.

1 is at the bottom since he associates with corrupt people, and he cheated on his wife.

3 is in the middle, and not the top, because you can't trust those goodie two shoes. (And i was right..just look what the real version of that personality did.)

2 is at the top because he sounds down to earth.

Not enough information is provided for me to choose, I'm more interested in candidates' political stances and voting records than in their personal lives.

Well since George Bush economicly destroyed this country and I am way too poor to vote Republican I will vote for all Democrats

dont see the point its so obvious both sides are working together as a duality.

This is funny.

I always like to show people the American NAZI platform and ask them what they think about it. Omitting the "humane re-location of non-whites" bit of course.

When they read points like this:

We demand that the State shall make it its primary duty to provide a livelihood for its citizens. If it should prove impossible to feed the entire population, foreign nationals (non-citizens) will be deported.

All citizens shall have equal rights and duties, regardless of class or station.

We demand economic reform suitable to our national requirements

We demand equality of rights for the American people in its dealings with other nations, and the revocation of the United Nations, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, the World Bank, the North American Free Trade Agreement, the World Trade Organization, and the International Monetary Fund

We demand that the State shall make it its primary duty to provide a livelihood for its citizens.

We demand the nationalization of all businesses which have been formed into corporations

We demand an end to the status quo in which people die or rot away from lack of proper treatment due to the failure of their medical coverage, Health Maintenance Organization, or insurance policy.

We further demand the extensive development of insurance for old age and that prescription drugs be made both affordable and accessible.

The primary land reform will be to ensure all members of the nation receive affordable housing. The party as such stands explicitly for private property.

However, we support the passing of a law for the expropriation of land for communal purposes without compensation when deemed necessary for land illegally acquired, or not administered in accordance with the national welfare.

We further demand the abolition of ground rent, the discontinuation of all taxes on property, and the prohibition of all speculation in land.

It goes on like that.

Leaving out all the stuff about whites and foreigners people usually respond favorably. They get all excited about the welfare and business plans and housing and healthcare stuff.

Vote NAZI!

They've even recently come out and called for the recognition of a Palestinian state.

They're like a bunch of racists hippies.

Actually, national socialism (nazism) seems a pretty sensible platform, if you leave out the racist and inhumane parts, IMHO.

Yup. Reading the Nazi's "25 points" an awful lot of them mesh well with what these Wall St protesters are complaining about.

Pair that with an irrational hatred of "banking elite" aka Zionists, aka Jews, and we could very well see the American Nazi Party take solid root. Not just among racist neanderthals but among a supposedly enlightened collegiate youth. If I'm not mistaken that would be a wonderful historical reenactment. After all, the eugenics movement which the Nazi's ran with was championed by Yale, Harvard, and 370 other universities as well as many "progressive" groups and leaders.

Something very surreal about a bearded hippie yelling for Jews to go back to Israel.

I wonder, has the ADL said anything about OWS bashing "bankers?" The ADL lists the term as one of their many "code" words for anti-Semitic attacks.

ETA: It appears the ADL has said something:

Most people I know vote based on a politicians stance on issues. None of those things you listed really come into play.

Huh. Learn something new everyday, eh?

I always thought Churchill was a white liquor guy, vodka or gin. Guess I was wrong, although not being British I can hardly be blamed for my lack of Churchill knowledge. Don't know where I got misinformed, or maybe I'm just remembering things wrong.
