Light Poetry

Please write me a song that the robbins will sing,
that blooms like the flowers on the first days of spring.
While the moon cradles the stars in sweet harmony.

Yes the salmon do swim up he rivers to spawn.
They feed the cycle of life to live on.
Rushing waters run rampant to the seas.

God I want to dream of some clear blue skies.
Reasons to dry all these tears from my eyes.
Take the nightmares away from all my dreams.

So talk about warmth on a cold winters day.
Cool breezes that will blow through the sun scorched haze.
Mothers giving birth to a world of peace.

God can you see that I am on begging knees.
I'm begging you please to hear my plea.
If you do, this favor I ask of you.

Please take the time to open our minds.
Show everyone there are reasons for trying.
God bless our children and lift them please.

Please show them each and every little thing,
that this world has that is truely worth saving.
God bless our children and teach them to sing.

Yes I have walked down those long cold roads.
I have carried the pain and it's been a heavy load.
It's enough to bring any strong man down to his knees.

Yes I do know things, That very few know.
Pain still can come and who could ever know.
Tonight I shed it off and shout it out, through prayer you let everything go.

Yes oh if you have seen what my eyes have seen.
You know the worlds suffering is caused by death, drugs or greed. Well if you do this favor I will do for you.

I'll write you the songs, that the robbins can sing.
They will bloom like flowers on the first days of spring,
while the moon cradles the stars in sweet harmony.

Yes harmony will be here someday for you and For Me.

well, I was just playing around with your poem and putting it into a melody. With some arrangement it would be a beautiful song. You have a gift. It is elegant, very beautiful and hopeful.

Now, Cherubbaby, you -SHOULD- sing it.

I really feel embarassed for missing the posts in this thread. I rarely forget to reply to someone. I can only say thank you for the applause and I have special reasons for this peace and it is very close to my heart . Thank you so much and take care.

I appologise to you as well for missiing your post. That would be great if you had a mellody or arrangement. I played for a long time but I am out of the game now. My love for music is still intact though. Thanks again..

Thanks to you and everyone that shares an honest opinion to the labor of another.. I write because I have something more important at times to share and paint with words. My pen went dry 10 years ago Still, for 20 years it was a powerfull pen.

I have writtten over 250 songs and poems and made a few bucks even. I never wrote for the promise of money and I needed money. I will confess that my hope now and then is maybe something I put on paper will bring light or hope to just one person if that s all then I have done enough.
