hi all


just a quick post to ask if anyone here on ats has a suunto x10m

my battery is loosing its charge and because its rechargeable has to be sent to them direct. any ideas of cost etc or anywhere in the uk i can get this done cheap

go to a locksmith, im not sure what they are like where you are but most sell batteries and can fit them into things

looks nice tho i want one

yeah i know but that means a 2 week wait as its sent off to foreign climates to take 6 screws out and replace the battery which is a pain

downside to not sending it back to the manufacturer is no-one will/can guarantee water-proof 'ness'. probably invalidate the warranty if still applicable. your shout dude.

peace of mind imo. i do it with my zeitner and seiko. hurts the pocket but a cheap choggy watch suffices till the morrow. pity about the warranty, 'yea i dropped it and it's acting funny' routine no longer applicable!
