I can't just help but think that...
I'm (Me as in one of the only people I know) the only one that understand they only say what you want to hear.

Its like the only things they say is what the teens who buy every new Apple product, or the young adults who buy the new CoD game every couple of months it comes out, or the adults that go to parties almost everyday, or the older people who watch QVC and FOX all day want to hear.

Herman Cain is like a foxican. He's like everything you want to hear if you really don't give a crap about politics and just need someone "good" to vote for.

I mean yeah this is just one guy but I have the same basic template that applies to all the other runners. I just don't feel that anyone can solve the problems. No I haven't "lost hope" or anything. Matter of fact I never thought that anyone could solve the nation's problems now, after the miles of sh*t we're deep in.

Maybe I'm just overlooking things. bleh. I'm not a political guy but does anyone have this feel bro?

The problem with Pols is theyt try to make everybody happy. Ain't gonna happen.

Hard choices, hard decisions will always make people unhappy. But if it is for the better, and only history will tell, those who make them will be remembered.

Only someone with the absolute will to serve the people can get us out of this mess. Most people grow up looking at the presidency as the ultimate go for prize, like some kind of trophy or accomplishment of their lives. Most people in this country believe we are deserving of the freedom that was fought for us centuries ago but we greatly took it for granted and now we are without honor and respect. Pride is bull#, and the fact that people are proud to be an American simply because by luck they were born here is absurd. It was our duty to set an example to the world that capitalism can let man thrive, but our greed and pride have stripped us of honor and respect and that's why the world is turning to socialism and communism. So if you really want to see progress then you're ganna have to convince a lot of people to appreciate life for what it is.

This is very true. But, to take it a step further, the public does not want to hear the hard truth. If a politician came out and said what really had to be done to move towards a path of fixing things, he would be demonized by the very people that get fed up with politicians. As an example in Canada, we have to do some things to fix out health care system in the long run (it is unsubstainable). However, in both the last Federal and a provincial election, once party said "hey let's throw more money at the problem," and in both cases the opposition said, "hey I will do that to, vote for me!"

We are our own worst enemies.
