I really - sincerely - hope you get some intelligent and knowledgeable responses. Whether they are positive or negative.

For me - - I know Obama said he would take each issue - study it - then make a decision. I like that. I like methodical. Kind of like the Tortoise and the Hare. I'll take the "slow and sure" over political grandstanding.

I don't need a grand standing flag waver who makes gut and god decisions.

Jerry Brown is having the same problem with Republicans Obama is. They really don't care about anything but being Republican.

I completely agree with Obama calling them out.

i especially like "improved relations with islamic world". last time i checked hes started blowing up more islamic countries then bush ever dreamed. nobel peace price for nothing? im not an obama basher i dont like any politicians. i just know a fail when i see one

saying he limited lobbyist influence on the white house is like saying dodd frank is actually working,

the stimulus plan was a good thing? im sure almost everyone agrees it failed.

increasing the size of the military when the army just said it was going to try to downsize?

immediate and efficient respose for north dakota floods? what about the rest of the country in our 11 billion dollar disaster year. joplin sure isnt looking good still.

changed failing war strategy in afghanistan? sure doesnt look like much has changed to me. "bring our troops home" went to well i said that but maybe in a few years

Chances are that the thread was possibly considered for review due political trolling or being a political shill thread.

Always hot button issues when it comes to those who believe in political ideaology.

You've been here longer than me, but I would suggest that a thread stating that the President succeded at this, while failing at that would be a better topic which would more than likely generate more responses and a better debate. And of course, your views as to why he succeeded or failed.
