This is Paradise, and the one dollar bet has been won!!!

Think about this from a logical perspective. You are the CEO of a large corporation. During a general assembly to your stock holders and employees, a lone worker comes up to the podium, and in front of thousands of his co-workers and managers proudly tells the CEO that he bets all his company stock and dignity that HE, the lowly worker can run the company better. The CEO looks at the lowly worker, and all the onlookers and proudly exclaims that he will take that bet and give the worker a set amount of time to prove otherwise.

Now here is the problem, set within religion. They feel that Satan is in control and that the bet of Universal Sovereignty was initiated. However, the world conditions (SH!TTY) are because of Satans control... what? Why would Satan, or put more locally on a level all can understand, why would the lowly company XYZ worker slit his own throat and allow things to crumble much to the pleasure of the CEO? He wouldn't!! He (either Satan or lowly worker) would bust their ass to insure that things were running top notch, that the world or company operated BETTER than ever it could under the CEO (God). Only a FOOL would take the bet and allow things to turn to sh!t only to be mocked by the CEO and fellow co-workers.

So you see, either this is Paradise (which means under Gods rule things would be worse), or the story is bullsh!t, OR God himself is throwing a wrench into the works and cheating on the bet. Either way you look at it, it makes no sense and is not logical plausible for someone or a higher entity to take a bet and renege!

That's an interesting analogy. There's a lot of things in the christian bible that don't make sense to me and this has been one of the biggest discrepancies. You have god that's supposed to be an all powerful entity, that successfully stops a coup orchestrated by lucifer, one of his disgruntled underlings. So how does god punish lucifer? He banishes him to earth to be among his prized creations. How does that even make sense? That would be like banishing a pedophile to a preschool. Anyways this story always seemed a bit fishy to me, and apparently to you as well.

satan isn't interested in running the corporation but destroying it, tricking all it's employees into thinking their misfortunes are the CEO's fault, not theirs or satan's and generally wanting you out of a job, homeless, dirty, starving and sick.

why, because he got fired and is bitter and angry and hates your guts for having a job and is mad that he can't be ceo.

and if you follow him by stealing from the corporation, fighting with your fellow employees and not doing your job, you'll end up that way and blame the ceo for getting fired.

Yet, how many people did Satan kill in the OT? Bet you can't find one. By some accounts God killed tens of millions all for a piece of prime real estate. Also, in the OT, I believe it was Cyrus where he said that it was the almighty that controlled and owned the nations of the world, and to whom he wants he gives them to... now fast forward to Jesus on the Temple Mount being tempted by "Satan", wherein "Satan" says he will give all the kingdoms of the world to Jesus if he does an act of worship... hmmmm

Also, how many people did God resurrect in the OT or heal... how many did Jesus? Why did God need a copper serpent to heal the Israelites after they sinned??? ...and the 64K dollar question, is why is the tetragrammaton NOT used in the NT and Jesus NEVER, EVER used YHWH in the NT as his father... along with that, Jesus overthrew the tables of the money changers in the temple and told the religious leaders of the day that they were NOT following his father and that HIS father DID NOT want sacrifice but mercy... so who were the Israelites sacrificing burnt offerings to? Was it not YHWH that set this up, because as we all know the smell of burning flesh was pleasant to the smell of "God"...

You all give yourselves to much intellectual capacity... I set the premise for the original bet as outlined in the Bible. Do you really think Satan is that stupid to blow the golden opportunity of a life time, wherein ALL creation, both those who took Satans side and those that did not would not take notice and join his side if things were rosy? Do you really think these creatures, if they exist, are that dumb?!?!?!?!?

Was it NOT GOD that allowed Satan to "tempt" Job? So who really is the piece of sh!t?

If satan were to exist , he would already know the outcome before it happened . Whats to stop another average joe from topping the first average joe ? but once hes in power he shifts the company back to the stone age ?
