Conspiracy - do people pick and choose, especially when they don't want to touch the sensitive subj

People will tell you that 9/11 was a conspiracy, USS Liberty, etal. However, when it comes to the Holocaust people are dead set on it, and will NOT entertain other documents, findings, etc. that may alter their belief. Why is that? In fact, in many countries you cannot even speak of the holocaust in a bad way? Why? It would seem that much propaganda exists and a small group are trying to control the "heart strings"...

So why do people accept one, without looking at others? The Holocaust is just an extreme example, but many others exist.

People need to reconsider the word skeptic and it's proper use.

Anyone who dares question the holocaust, is labeled a Rightwing Conservative Extremist.

Any rational debate is frown upon, and can even get you a long prison sentence.

Which makes me think, what are they so afraid of, if it so indisputable ?
