I have searched and still have no idea? I cant even find a steller nursery in our local vicinty?

Wasn't there a theory that we weren't even born in the Milky Way, but actually originally part of another galaxy that collided with the Milky Way?

Yes, the word is that we are actually part of the Saggitarius Galaxy that has intersected with the Milky
Way Galaxy. You might have to dig around to verify how much of that is hypothesis and how much is

I don't think it could be Andromeda...

This was of course, billions of years in the past... Andromeda is still apart from us.

Ah, here is is:

Supposedly, we were actually part of the Sagittarius Dwarf Galaxy, that then merged with the Milky Way.
