Cause of death at "Occupy San Diego" in dispute

SAN DIEGO — An autopsy is tentatively scheduled Tuesday on the body of the man who fell to his death from a parking structure at the Community Concourse at City Hall downtown Monday afternoon.

Well, now somebody is dead.

Witnesses told police the victim was possibly hanging a sign from the eighth floor of the building structure when he fell about 3:15 p.m.

This is both sad and confusing.

Flyers that said “Important message to intelligent earthlings from your creators,” were found near his body.

He was hanging up flyers that said WHAT?

“Important message to intelligent earthlings from your creators,”

What is the message?

Police also said they did not think he was affiliated with the Occupy San Diego movement camped out on the plaza. About 200 to 300 protestors were nearby when the death occurred.

Really, you don't think he was there because of Occupy San Diego?

Authorities are still trying to identify the victim, said only to be a resident of San Diego who is possibly in his 40s. Authorities have not explained why the two agencies have differing theories as to how the man died.

This is really strange...

Maybe the message was...Don't hang too far off an eight story building.

Story is being blown out of proportion..

Someone lost their life hanging a flyer on a very tall building..

No conspiracy, no crazy reasoning.

Make him a martyr for the cause..

At least he was hanging a sign for a message he was trying to give us..

Don't let this person die in vane.

I thought it was in good taste that the protestors cancelled their protest and instead held a prayer circle for the fallen man.

I also would LOVE to read his message.

Was it:
“We apologise for the inconvenience.”

I am attempting to find out more information.

It appears it was a tragic accident.

It also appears the man was at the protest.
