Maybe its not an excuse for war, its definatley US propaganda, but its probably just to distract people from the Occupy Movement, the economy and Fast and Furious. Just like when OBL was "killed" in May, get the sheep in a panicy state and steer them away from the real issuses.

Yeah they're gonna try to spook the herd, but that wont work anymore, we've lost fear, their greatest motivator.

It will only further confirm they are who we said they we're and strengthen our resolve to rid them. Either way they're done.

Well, there's the new terror threat warning as expected;

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The State Department is warning Americans around the world of the potential for terrorist attacks against U.S. interests following the exposure of an alleged Iranian plot to assassinate Saudi Arabia's ambassador to the United States.

In a new worldwide travel alert issued late Tuesday, the department said the foiled scheme could be sign that Iran has adopted a "more aggressive focus" on terrorist activity. It said Iranian-sponsored attacks could include strikes in the United States, where the alleged plot against the Saudi envoy was supposed to have taken place, as well as other countries.

hosted.ap.org...

Predictable, as usual.

Interesting, was watching the "psychic twins" on youtube the other day, where they mention there would be two terrorist attacks "thrawted" in september/october, in NY and Washington. They also seem to have predicted 911 on art bell. The hurricane they talk about at the end, seemed to be dead on as well.

They talk about it at 2:45 into the video.

Just saw this response on Yahoo news.

"so if one iranian nat'l is accused of plotting a crime... we invade iran. but if 15 saudi terrorists murder americans on our soil... we invade iraq?"

I think folks are waking up.

This is just sick. It's one more reason that we shouldn't take all of this for granted. Iran has consistently time and time again proven which side it's on. I don't think the sanctions are working. We tried to appease Hitler and that did not work. We tried that on Saddam. Did not work. This lesson is one that is hard won. Do NOT toy with Iran.

1) Iran has links to funding for insurgents in iraq
2) Iran does not recognize the right of Israel to exist
3) Iran desires nuclear weapons because of its outdated military forces
4) The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps is linked to several terrorist events

How much more evidence do we need before we ACT? How much is enough?

It's getting to be a farce. We need to hit iran and hit them hard to send them a message.

SO SICK of ATS and this "false flag" crap. This site is such BS but its entertaining LOL

History tells us they are real..and govts use plan for (Operation Northwoods), and use (Reichstag / Gulf of Tonkin) them... yet somehow every generation has 1930s Germans who trust & believe more in current words rather than past deeds.

I trust lessons from history more than any television leaders, so called.. 70K were slaughtered based on the gulf of tonkin lie.. with the same GOP & DNC flocks in charge, oh yeah.. it's a real possibility false flags / lies & spin will be spun into another conflict.

This ridiculous blame the boogie man low budget fiction was stale in the 1960s.. yet people still believe these liars.

You're making accusation that have no basis in reality. That's your problem. If you want to complain about liars then complain about yourself! Real people will act where you do not.

In the real world we have to make choices: and quick. We do not have the benefit of time.

We cannot afford to wait and see if maybe we were just wrong. When Iran gets access to a nuclear weapon, if they don't already have it, there's too much of a risk that they will USE it.

This is how national security works. It's not a game. There's no redo button.

Look, it's Iran's fault that the benefit of the doubt is not on their side. They're the ones that should have been more careful. History is NOT on their side when doubt comes into our mind. So when moments like this happen (they always will), we have to make a choice based on the risk versus the collateral. We have to turn to any doubts and we have to weigh all of this. There's not enough time to ensure perfection in the process. This is not like a court of law where there's time to check the evidence and review the witnesses. War is dirty and chaotic because of this, but you cannot blame leadership for being wrong occasionally. They're forced to make choices like this and there's just too much running on it for them to put it aside. WE MUST ACT SOON.

Iran should have worried about their image/reputation 20 years ago, not now. It's too late.

The situation has been analyzed very thoroughly in this post, both arguments have had their say.
It raises questions and to some opens up speculative possibilities not considered before, but please entertain this thought:

If Osama is dead, and Afghanistan almost a done deal, isn't it strange that suddenly a new evil arises with a devious scheme?
As if a replacement of the collective hatred of freedom was needed, to point its claws at its direction, middle eastern direction if possible.

A war is being fought in Mexico within drug cartels, black ops and Mexican military, that "war" and its potential outcomes can endanger American soil any day in a much closer and deadlier manner, the death of American youth, because the ones that aren't shipped to die in wars, are being killed by drugs back home.

Instead of addressing the real issues we are being spoon fed phoney tales of grand mischief...

Well dear jonnywhite, America will act soon enough don't you worry about that, and in the process things are going to change, for the worse, for them and for US.
This war will define future rules, as it will bankrupt the government and empower private corporate entities that will, under the flag of unity, take away the props and leave us staring at the blank wall hidden behind it all, all these years.

Yes jonnywhite, they had it coming, and so are we!, we aren't going to win that war, we wont even be a part of it as a human soldier is too expensive to maintain, we wont even be needed to die for them, grunts will be outsourced by machines!

So yeah make them pay, they had it coming 20 years ago...
