Charcloth can be made in fire pit, as well. Wait until you have a good coal bed, bury the container (I used an Altoids tin) and leave it for about 20 minutes or so (time will need to be adjusted to account for the variables) it may be a bit more of trial/error than over a stove, but still easy peasy...

Great bit of information, will definantly be trying this one out myself

Btw, the way you write your posts, and not just this one, i like how you make everything in its simplest terms (no big words lol), and the humor along the way is great
