The left-right "divide and conquer" masterminds are exploiting this movement.

It's as clear as day. Just as the "Tea Party" started off with a bunch of angry people at the government (now it's been railroaded by super draconian right-wing nut jobs) -- the leftist Democrats are latching on to the anger over banks and corporations.

Both of these "movements" are so similar...yet the media and the talking heads we watch on TV are espousing that they are two extremes along a continuum.

When, in fact, they are both so far on each side that the this fictitious "spectrum" closes in upon itself, touches, and comes full circle.

I'm taking a stand, and declaring this movement officially hijacked. If you support what these varied people from all walks of life are standing against -- spread the word. Don't let the momentum be latched onto or steered by people with wealth and influence.

I have a feeling that both the OWS and Tea Party were "created" to further polarize and prevent unity over American dissatisfaction with the status quo.

If we want to break the cycle the "puppet masters" have us playing, we need to begin to fold this little plan back upon themselves.

I'm adding a video I put together with the song, "Conspiracy to Riot" by Sage Francis. If you listen to the lyrics -- it's clear that this movement on both "sides" isn't about more or less government. It's anger at being marginalized.

I'd like to see the Tea Party protesters down on Wall Street. That would send shockwaves into the rich elite 1%. Lets not be used, but rather become the change we want.

What makes you say it's been hijacked? Please give some specific examples.

I knew the Tea Party was hijacked when Sarah Palin et alia started being invited to the protests; it's ok for one or 2 politicians to attend protests, but when they are invited in mass, and attend every "rally", it becomes obvious it was hijacked. I also knew it when Fox News started supporting it as if it were their baby.

I agree with the last part though, that we must make sure it doesn't get hijacked. That's much different from claiming it's already hijacked. Do you have any evidence, not theories, that it already has been hijacked?

Repeat this often on fb, twitter, and chat, so the message will resonate within larger crowds.

Also take your graphic, and write "Occupy" across the bill... More of an impact.

Well, according to this discussion topic here on ATS, the House Democrats are endorsing OWS. Not quite as subtle as the Republicans did it w/the Tea Party -- but election season is soon, why not latch on?

It's not about left vs. right ... OWS is about power, corruption and greed. I've seen "End the Fed" signs on the live feed -- why isn't Fox News showing those? I've seen very well dressed people protesting, veterans in uniform as well. Is the media (especially the liberal MSNBC media) covering that? Nope.

OWS needs to extend an invite to the Tea Party -- an the Tea Party should extend a helping hand. Both sides want the same thing, both sides are fed up with the status quo.

The TPM is the status quo since it was co-opted by the GOP. The TPM hates the OWS and feels threatened by any group going against the corporate oligarchy and the war machine that profits in blood. War is big business!!

i took alot of heat today for that thread and if they hadnt endorsed them that thread would have never been made.

i have to agree and disagree here its not a left or right thing here to quote a famous potus who once said.

"its and up or down thing" meaning more of the same that put us here or do people finally see that the enemy of the people of this country is and always has been and always will be its very own government.

shrink the beast of government solve the majority of the problems we face today because they are the root cause of every single problem we face as a people here.

simple solution people need to be protesting their government the alpha and omega of this country the master of us all.

Conspiracy? Yes

Take a stoner hippy -- he wants to be able puff his "medicine" without "the man" telling him what to do.

Take a gun-loving redneck -- he wants to own his guns and blow stuff up without "the man" telling him what to do.

Both need jobs. Both want a decent quality of life. Both have the same desires, but both have a different motive.

I'm sorry, but once you reach multi-billionaire status -- politics becomes a fun little game you play with the masses.

There are no "sides" for the uber-rich. No "right vs. left". There is no "Democrat or Republican". If they play by these rules, why shouldn't the disenfranchised masses? Let's all rally behind being pissed off at the status quo, not eachother.

It really is a real life game of "Risk" that they play each and every day with our very lives.

I love the way people on the left try to rationalize this.

The tea party is not violent.

But I can guarantee you that OWS is.

Lol, really?
They have taken an oath of peace. And it will be upheld by everyone there who is a part of the occupy movement. Any violence otherwise i can pretty much guarantee will be infiltrators .

One of two things will happen: Mark my words and hold me accountable.

1. Some kind of Leftist media-endorsed persona will be elevated to "spokesman" status

2. Protests will turn violent, being instigated by "shady" unknown people hired by the powers that be.

Both would play into the hands of the House Democrats. Why? Well let's examine option one...

We now have a mouthpiece for the movement, it's now finally organized -- they are now capable of endorsing candidates and swaying poll numbers.

Option two...

We now have an angry mob, small outbreaks of violence being thwarted by extreme levels of police brutality. Can anyone say "pity me" media hit pieces?

It is to keep the identity somewhat secret.
Thats the purpose of it, some people just want to remain anonymous in that sort of situation, hell, i would want to be too. Anyone causing violence should be blamed on police infiltrators, which happens, and has happened before.

Yes it's TPTB again.

Let's all deny accountability once again and point our fingers at the faceless man.

Sometimes i would assume yes, or they get arrested in the fray. Look at the g20 protest in toronto. There were police in the protest only there to cause hell. They were ousted.

And stop will this liberal democrat bull#. Stop labeling something that has no label in the least. Any labels are people trying to co-opt the movement. Its not liberal, socialist, communist, or any of the crap. Its people. Get it into your head.

I dont get how people are like "oh im a dem" or a repub, or whatever. It makes no sense to label yourself something. Its a label people use to feel better about themselves, because they don't notice that they're voting for the same # in the end. I am a free thinker, not a liberal.

"Oh, ill bring the troops home if you elect me"
"Oh wait, im going to send 40,000 more"

You are right. The megalithic wealthy are globalists and have no loyalties. They are for themelves. They do not have loyalty to a country of origin and hence they run all over anyone believing in national sovereignty.

The Merchant/Banker/Business class has been like this for thousands of years.

The ancient trade routes established the agendas, and created the elite structures.

Same as then, same as today.
