Chat on another feed just reported the scanner is getting calls for more flexicuffs into the middle of the park. Looks like those little white dots all over the park ARE the riot cops....the ones all along the outter edge just for the human box to prevent escape.

Seeing on twitter, 200+ cops called in, beating people, ambulances en route to deal with injured.

Come ON. Jeez.

Talk about a tale of two cities we've seen this morning. For reasons we still can't guess at, cooler heads prevailed in Atlanta and no one has been hurt. The protesters remain, but by reports to ATS directly, are working to police their own crowd.

In Boston, they take the "Might is Right" approach, and we're watching live reports of the media being asked to leave the area and EMT Medical Tents being set up for response. I wonder what that is all about. I can only say this has been an interesting night to watch. The best and worst of times.....Yes, that does fit. Wow.
