The two party system is again working it's magic on the political discourse in America.
It was not long ago that the Tea Party was protesting the Status Quo, the subversion
of American political system and the need to address the corrupted political system here
in America.

OWS is essentially protesting the same system... OWS wants to end the corrupted dance
between the Banks, Corporations, the Fed and the government.

IMO, those concerns are valid and are not too radically different from one another.

So let's see... The Media focused on the fringe portion of the of the Tea Party, which helped
diminish and demonize the entire movement as a bunch of old, white, ignorant and racist
conservatives championing the corporate take over of the legislative process.

and now...

So let's see... The Media focused on the fringe portion of the of the OWS, which helped
diminish and demonize the entire movement as a bunch of young, progressive, ignorant and
stoned communists championing a Maoist revolution

Well, I think any REASONABLE person who denies ignorance could see that

1.There is almost a mirror image in the authenticity of the anger and frustration.

2. That both groups are fed up with this corrupted political/financial system.

3. Both groups are made up of Americans

4. BOTH movements are demonized and dispelled using the method of painting all the participants
in a negative light, by appealing to stereotypes and presenting the most inflammatory signs
and rhetoric.

Now does that mean that the Tea Party members and OWS members are categorically
evil and stupid?

NO

It means that the media and forces controlling our perception can quell any chance to change
our world by simply appealing to the fears of the "other" segment in the population.

If the conservative fascists are plotting a privatization of politics, you can get the "liberals" who
fear such a thing to take them out!

If the socialist commies are plotting a liberalization of politics, you can get the "conservatives" who
fear such a thing to take them out!

So why do we let this happen? IS our enemy really the guy in the street with a sign, taking time
out from their lives to do something they believe in? Are we to believe that exercising our first
Amendment right in such a strong way, can only lead to disaster?

If there was ever a time to SEE behind the "curtain" this is it, with each passing watch how
artfully we police one another into being stuck in the same situation regardless of all the desire,
from the "left to right", to change.

Aren't you sick and tired of being Stuck???

It's obvious the corporate media is trying to Tea Party the OWS but I don't think it's going to work this time. Too many people are awake that free market capitalism isn't the problem, we don't have enough of it and more socialism isn't the solution, we already have too much of that.

I understand the liberals want more socialism but that is not what happens in reality. The banks get $27 trillion in socialism, people who are dependent on a government check get their benefits cut, home owners get foreclosed on and protesters get thrown in jail.

I understand conservatives want capitalism but what we get is corporate fascism. The corporations write the legislation for the politicians that are bought off by them to pass laws that shut down their competition, give them unfair trade advantages then force us by law to pay for things we don't want or at higher prices if it is something we need like electrical power.

No they have stolen too much too fast and it has burned too many people all at once.

How about we drop that labels?

I see that first and foremost, people want to end the corruption, chances are, we could ALL figure out a
way to end corruption that would please the Tea Party and OWS.

Such a simple thing is the what is causing all this fear and propaganda -

If we can just realize that all we need to do is agree on a solution to the corruption
of government, which stems from the financing of politics, we would effect great change.

Plan B should be to induce violence, that will complete the cycle of demagoguery
and fear enough to thwart the positive portions of such empowerment.
