For those of you (bottom feeders) who would pay for a prostitute.

Each to their own I suppose. It's not a lifestyle I would choose for myself, although I do know a woman who is trying to get into the adult industry.
Forced prostitution is illegal, but being a prostitute is not (not in the UK anyway).
I don't deny forced prostitution happens, but many prostitutes make the choice to do it for whatever reason.

Um voluntary prostitution isn't the same as the sex trade industry. There are women who WANT to be paid to have sex for money just as there are men who will pay for it. It pays well and I don't fault anyone who is making a living even if it is sex for money.

I know a few girls who are escorts and get paid crazy money. It's their choice, nobody forces them. Also what do you care what two consenting adults do?


My only thing with legalizing it is you give people the go to say it's ok to cheat on a spouse or partner because what they are doing is deemed legal. That is my problem with it. Yes cheating comes down to morals but if you make it legal many would take advantage of it. I mean look at that sick site that guarantees an affair. My god that is a horrible site but again consenting adults. Do I agree with what it promotes no? Will I stop them? No, it's their choice and it honestly doesnt affect my life so why bother wasting my breath on it.

In the end, from my experience has been cheaper then a wife...

For her to take 20,000 dollars from me over one disagreement is nothing compared to a few hundred per month easily replaced with a paycheck, in the end I have no worries.

there are many different levels of prostitutes, from sex slave sold into it by her family to a high priced call girl who has her johns screened ahead of time

No, but you think there is nothing wrong with those women? I mean you would say that a healthy, active, accomplished individual would at any point in their life need to pursue prostitution for no good reason? If you want to argue that prostitution led to sex trafficking, you will have a difficult time since there is illegal activity and corruption present in almost every legitimate job. Adoption for example. Should adoption be made illegal completely because some people now steal children and sell them? How about organ stealers. Should transplants be banned simply because now there are people selling organs on the black market? The list goes on and on.

I will. Through my life I have paid for sex several times. I like varaiety in life and don't always want the same ole same ole. I believe each of the woman I paid to have sex with were doing so by choice as we were both free and none putting pressure on the other. I don't consider the sex act as sacred or some mythical joining of man and woman. Its pretty much the same as eating great food. Though I have had some epic times with both paid for and "free" sex. lol.

Im older now, settled down, remain faithful in respect of my wife wishes tough I'd enjoy a good romp with a young, firm, gorgeous, willing prostitute if I was ever divorced. I choose not to do this out of respect for my wife and our promises we maid. That does not give me the right to impose that bond on others though.

I can tell you haven't known many prostitutes personally.

So someone wants to make choices for other people, or at the very least is unhappy about personal choices made by others which they don't agree with.

Perhaps we should look at the society which fosters such choices, sometimes as a way to climb out of the system which otherwise has them feeling trapped.

You sound like a doctor; "Let's fix the symptom and ignore the cause."

I have personally never used a prostitute, but I know that you don't pay a prostitute for sex, you pay her to go away afterwards. There is another symptom, where we don't want to look at the cause either, huh?

Legalizing prostitution isn't going to make cheating on a spouse anymore prevalent. First, adultery is still illegal in most states which would supersede the legalization of prostitution. The legalization of one would not deem the other invalid.

Second, cheating is already a huge component in marriages anyway. Personally, would I rather my spouse pay to have a fantasy filled or get involved in a relationship with a co-worker? For me, I'll take the business transaction. Physical satisfaction is far less detrimental than an emotional bond in my opinion. And since the prostitute is merely doing a job, the potential for a relationship is greatly reduced.

That's funny because I was in turkey in 2009 and met no such people. They all seemed to know what was going on in America and didn't really like us.

It's the oldest business in the history of mankind.

Much of the stereotypes of Prostitution here in the US are a result of it being made ILLEGAL.

In Europe where Prostitution is widely accepted and Legal, you don't have these things.

They do what they do by choice and are considered independent business people.

No different than any other self employed business , they are licensed and are required to have medical examinations, allowing the Police to work towards solving Real criminal activity/crime instead of moral ones..
