I never said that I held any feelings for Palin at all, and I'm glad that she announced that she was not going to run in the 2012 elections. Still, that remark by Stewart was a typical liberal remark which marred his credibility.

As far as that statement that "the world must change"... I agree 100%. The world must change - at least that corner of the world that we call America - and that change has got to include the abolition of the socialist agenda for America, the defunding of wasteful entitlement programs, and the return to the rule of law that the Republic of the United States of America was founded upon by our Forefathers. That change has got to reaffirm that government has no business interfering in the business of its citizenry, wasting our tax dollars to teach men in Kenya how to wash their genitals, and teaching prostitutes in China how to drink responsibly (all of these are true examples of the waste committed wihtin the past 2 years by our federal government).

You're missing the point.

Being a dick to others accomplishes nothing. Especially when you have an entire world that is hell bent on being the biggest dick.

Yes more or less to all of the above. Didn't have anything but the mortgage at that point anyway (80% paid off but took a huge loss on equity too). Great points though. Again, the thing is, by design, no one much cares till it hits them, and until it does happen to everyone, no kind of real change will ever happen.

I'm not trying to be a "dick", as you so eloquently put it, towards anyone.

The way I see it, you were being a huge dick towards me when you wrote "Unfortunately it is not in the interest of everyone that your business and money take higher priority than starting a revolution with aims to reconstruct the way we handle socioeconomic issues."

How is that being a dick? Because in writing that you made it clear that you have no sympathy for the losses and sufferings that you and people like you are causing to the innocent people who are also caught up in this mess.

You made it clear even more when you wrote in response to my hardships and sufferings, and to the inevitable hardships and sufferings that these protests may bring for my employees, that "In war there will be casualties."

That sounded pretty much like something that a dick would say, expecting innocent people to roll over and suffer as collateral damage in a "war" that makes no sense at all.
