"Karnak" is not the name it had in ancient Egypt. It's the precinct of Amun-Re in the City of Amun (a part of ancient Thebes. In ancient Egyptian, the city's name is "Niwet Amun" -- City of Amun.

Karnak ("Carnac") is the name given to the location AFTER 1600 AD and was the name of a village there.

There's no way to write "Karnak" in ancient Egyptian.
en.wikipedia.org...

So you seem to be trying to connect an ancient site with another one based on names given to the sites after 1500 AD.

There's some good resources about ancient Egypt and other places in the pinned threads at the top. There's a lot known about these cultures, and since you find them interesting I encourage you to start reading about them.
