superman has it right.

These ads are not constant. They are tailored for the person viewing them. They rely on your browsing habits and display ads that are relevant to you.

So you've just exposed yourself as a secret Obama supporter.

Or the Obama campaign could have chosen some blanket metrics.

No, I'm definitely not a supporter. I didn't realize that full-blown banner ads could show up on a website without expressly placing them there. Which would make me wonder why I haven't seen any Ron Paul or Mitt Romney ads on this site. You could check my cache and cookies and about the closest you'll find to the Koz or Huff-Po is Fox News.

Call me paranoid. I guess that would make me fit in well here.
