if any girl is just having sex with a guy for free,its probably because she is young and niave and is probably around 18 or 19 and she has'nt yet put 1 and 1 together and figured out and realized the kind of power and sway that she is able to weild over a guy with her body,her sex...once she does...it will be sold to the highest bidder...

I have visited numerous amounts of brothels over the years... the ones i've been to it seems to be the womens choice as to whether they want to do it or not.... i'm not saying tha women arent forced into it in some cases coz they are but just saying that the ones i've visited... the women have wanted to do it or so they said.... it pays more than the average wage they said.....

I' ve had a good chat with some... some have kids, some don't... some mature women in 30's others young 20's.... and most of these brothels are run by women now....

So i'd vote to legalise it coz it's not gonna go away anyway.

If the woman that he took in and eventually paid for sex is of legal age, then it is her fault also. She will have learn from her mistakes if she so sees it as one. Her body, her choice. Remember woman's rights?

Lots of homeless woman steal. In my opion theft is a lot more morally disgusting than a one fleshy thing entering another fleshy thing. Theft is rampant, yet we don't make selling goods illegal. That is a good thing. Why should prostitution be any different?

I know this may hurt for some woman to hear but Ill say it. Men have very strong urges to have sex - sometimes even with intimate objects - the entire time not giving one consideration about emotions or love. Its that powerful!

Actually, my man is getting his sex for free. I have supported him for the last five years while he has had a rest from the rat race and builds a business.

Before that I paid half of everything.

We view it as a partnership, where we support each other...not a sex for money contract. I am in it with him and work while he builds value in the business. We're in it together.

This happens in grown up households across the nation. Sorry to contradict, but your experience of women and relationships would appear to be narrow.

You have some excellent points.

Unfortunately our society/world has made sex a disgusting thing, if your not in a marriage or some type of a relationship.

If women sleep around they are whores, but if men sleep around they are studs.

The impact of MSM, Religion, and the morally just has a profound effect, and the way they react is why sex is looked upon as a sin, disgusting, remorseful act, and this appears to be instilled in many females from birth.

What if our society had a different view and the women that actually chose the career of being an escort, didn't have to hide or feel ashamed, they had the protection of the law, and mandatory medical checks, paid taxes, and were viewed as just another chosen career?

I know it's a far stretch because of the way people have been raised to judge, by their moralities/religion.

We as a society will watch two men pound each other to unconsciousness in a ring, a team of men crush and tackle each other on the field, political war machines destroy men, woman and children and all for what?

But when a woman or man choses to be an escort, prostitute or whatever other name people coin them they are trash, the last time I checked sex is a non-violent act.

It seems to be the way people see or relate to sex is the main problem society has, once everyone has overcome the indoctrinated fears and stigmas of a lifetime, maybe then sex will become a more significant part of being a human and how we view and treat each other.

Read my post above yours about those sites.... i've paid for them and been on them chatting, trying to get a serious lifetime partner... all been a waste of time so far!! And cash!! I've known a couple of prostitutes as friends and they do it because THEY LIKE IT!!
They do it because they ENJOY SEX!!
They do it because they make a TON OF MONEY!!

One of them has bought her own house outright for cash... so tell me, who is being exploited here? These girls want to do it, they enjoy doing it, they get power from it and a great lifestyle.

Oh here it comes - that old 'I'm a nice guy' cliche. If niceness was enough I'd have to sleep with half the neighbours!! There has to be a two way chemistry/connection. Either that simply hasn't happened (sometimes it doesn't you know) or maybe you are dull as ditchwater - or maybe you just have a very visible chip on your shoulder!

there for girls and women, in large part because of the over sexualization. Sexual assaults are on
the rise. Why do women have to be afraid all the time because "men have needs and they just can't
help that".

Being of the "chap" persuasion I have to say it's a perceived "danger"... I would guess that 99% of men out there are good decent, law abiding family men and your stereotypical view of men is just wrong.
Guess what?
Men like sex, women like sex... your so called God would have no one to pray for him if we didn't have sex, sex is good, sex is fun.

So, has it being illegal put a stop to it? Are our national morals better off now that prostitution has been made illegal?

Or is it just another useless law enacted because it goes against the delicate moral sensibilities of some?

Of course, I would be happy to discuss the philosophical ramifications of a society in which prostitution is made to run amock. It is a very impersonal way to get sex. In the modern internet age, it may end up being a very normal thing, as people are more and more removed from each other.

I for one work in the casino industry in las vegas. Contrary to many myths, prostitution is illegal inside the city limits. Prostitutes in the casino industry are unlike anywhere else. I run into multiple occasions daily where some tourist hired an "escort", and woke the next morning after being drugged to find their all their belonging missing, their bank account drained, and no clue of what transpired the night before.

The "turf wars" over the casinos have gotten so bad that its a daily occurence to find someone maced for being a female alone on the srtip, or a slap across the face with a razor between the fingers for being on some other crews property. The smut card peddlers line both sides of the strip with "escort" cards littering the streets. Children on a daily basis, even those from out of country, going missing and weeks later being found on the metro police's most wanted working girls list...it realy has gotten out of hand.

If prostitution were legalized, the system could be regulated. Every working girl would be required to be registered and tested for transmitable diseases. Then the penalty for not being registered can be increased. If you give them a legal means to operate, when they are arrested for felony charges for not adhearing to the law there would be no way to argue...the message will get out quick. This would also help to decrease, if not eliminate the position of the pimps. Why would a female work for a man that beats her and drugs her when she could work for a legitamate company and even the posibility of having health benifits. Not to mention, the pimps that remained would more than likely be those pushing the underage children into the streets, making it easier for the police to get a handle on, and crack down on the illegal child trade.

The sad truth is, prostitution has been around since before the bible..it never has nore never will stop!

All around, I truely belive by it remaining illegal we are not only making the situation worse, but also enabling them to keep the child trade thriving.

I know that it is not all men and that there are decent guys out there. But the dangers I speak of are not
perceived. They are real. My mom's life almost ended at the hands of a deranged man.

My own life has been threatened in the past and I am lucky to be alive.

I kind of wish that more men knew what it is like from a women's perspective. Especially if you are a woman
who lives alone. You have to be constantly on guard of being targetted.

Anyways, this is getting a bit off topic. The only thing that seems to be off limits these days is children, but children are now being overly sexualized. Do you not see this. Where is the line to be drawn, when people start screaming for the rights of children to be able to be in sexual relationship with adults. You may scoff but I can see this coming in the future. This over sexualization of women and now children needs to stop at some point, if that is moralizing and imposing my view on others then so be it. This constant barrage of open and over sexuality is IMPOSED on US all the time. And no, I am not religious but when is enough enough.

Maybe there needs to be a massive change somehow in our overall mindsets to see everyone as valuable beings beyond words and precious souls first and foremost. To treat eachother with dignity and respect and compassion, maybe that is old school nowadays.

The whole reality of prostitution is to me a sad thing that it even exists. We are worth so much more. Everything has been reduced to dollars and cents, even our vaginas. It is sad.
