When he cashes his check for his conspiracy show, it comes from corporate america who owns the companies he works for and the corporate world his show is making money for that sponsors all of the corporate commercials you have to watch on television during his show.

He is disingenuous and a sellout or he never would have left political life to go make money for corporate america. He deserves this scrutiny because he is always shouting he has no connections to corporate america, which is an outright blatant lie.

He likes to have his cake and eat it too. He is a millionaire himself, from the same system he pretends to be bucking against. It is no suprise he is an ace up the Globalists sleave, bought and paid for.

How can you judge this man unless you walked a mile in his shoes? I believe that many Americans are too judgemental of each other instead of ourselves. Grow up, accept others for who they are and only judge others when they infringe on our rights or others. We need to praise those that speak the truth because they are so few and far between and many end up dieing in some outlandish accident. JV has a good heart and i'm sure he had a good reason for leaving politics. Our only way to fight the 1% is for the 99% to unite while celebrating our differences, cooperating on the issues we agree upon and compromising on those we don't. Without sacrifice we will have no freedom!

To those who would disparage JV- This man is a SeAL, Viet Nam veteran, and former governor. AND, he is on OUR SIDE!!! How can any real American speak against him? It baffles me. Oh, he made his fortune in wrestling so he must just be a bad actor? Is that it? If so, turn it around, he made millions doing something that brought enjoyment to people (personally, I can't stand wrestling and I don't know that I've ever sat and watched JV in the ring). He then took that fame and fortune and has tried to improve the country that he loves ever since. What a horrible guy.

Doesn't Jesse live in Mexico??? hahahahaha

For some time, Jesse Ventura and his family have been living in the Mexican state of Baja California Sur. Ventura gave an interview to “Gringo Gazette”, an English language newspaper in Southern Baja California. The interview, printed in the March 30, 2009 edition, quotes Ventura as saying he moved to Mexico “to escape politics.” However, the interview also asked if Ventura will live permanently in Mexico, and he responded, “I have found in life that nothing is permanent.”

So making a profit off of something is evil now?

You know what is so scary about all of this. The liberal minded folk would lead us into a Marxist like state while the right would lead us to a fascist one.

We are so screwed.

Same could be said about any working man in any profession somewhere down the lines they are linked to the corporate world ?. As long as there not a banker on wall street or work directly for the conglomerations they are not the problem there are the 99% lol so what you have said makes no sense to me. I do not know much about JV so can not speculate on his full intention but with what has been provided on this thread so far has intrigued me.

First Moore shows up, now Ventura.

Great. Also, can we please not turn this into a "End the Fed" protest? It's not really about that. Its about corporate America buying out Washington.

Jesus, talk about hijacking a movement to have it fit Your agenda.

Ending the Fed would be the end to the PRIVATE Federal Reserve representing CORPORATE BANKS putting this nation's citizens into debt for nothing. What better example of "...corporate America buying out Washington"?

Would be great if trade unions actually did donate some money for the common pool to support the protestors... I wonder how people in Egypt survived (the ones that protested full time for months and months) ? At some stage people need feeding. Not sure. Can't wait for the protest to start in Britain - 10 October I think, and definitely take part in some capacity.
J. Ventura doesn't speak on behalf of the movement. He is just one individual taking part. He seems honest but maybe old enough not to be able to understand the idea of no demand being big enough. That's fine. We get set in our thinking rigidly as we grow older. Sorry Mr. Ventura but Wall Street has to go completely. It's not just corrupt individuals (Ha! maybe he indeed trys to derail it albeit inconsciously...), it's a corrupt framework that will inevitably corrupt anyone taking part in it.
The change has to be radical.

And this is why the movement is now unorganized more than ever.

It was a good start, but of course it got hijacked by various groups of morons.

Revolution = over.

every episode he states he was a navy seal. he it talking bull#. he never saw combat or was even a seal. read this:

Navy career

From September 11, 1969, to September 10, 1975, during the Vietnam War era, Ventura served in the United States Navy. Ventura graduated with BUD/S class 58 in December 1970 and was part of Underwater Demolition Team 12 The UDTs were merged with the US Navy SEALs in 1983, 8 years after Ventura had left the Navy.

Bill Salisbury, an attorney in San Diego and a former Navy SEAL officer, accused Ventura of "pretending" to be a SEAL and wrote that Ventura would be blurring an important distinction by claiming to be a SEAL when he was actually a frogman with the UDT. Compared to SEAL Teams, UDTs saw less combat and took fewer casualties. Following that, Governor Ventura's office confirmed that Ventura was a member of the UDTs. His spokesman stated that Ventura has never tried to convince people otherwise. Ventura stated: "Today we refer to all of us as SEALs; that's all it is."

Ventura has frequently referred to his military career in public statements and debates. He was criticized by hunters and conservationists for stating in an interview with the Minneapolis StarTribune in April 2001, "Until you have hunted men, you haven't hunted yet."

In January 2002, Ventura, who had never specifically claimed to have fought in Vietnam, disclosed for the first time that he did not see combat. He did not receive the Combat Action Ribbon, which was awarded to those involved in a firefight or who went on clandestine or special operations where the risk of enemy fire was great or expected.

As he was my former governer i think i can speak to Jesse Ventura, what ever you may think of Jesse, he is very real i am aware of his antics, i mean my god i only have watched him from a wrestler to mayor of Brooklyn Park, to Governer. Ive also known Jesse personaly as well, a few times at the Bar, the Jesse you see on TV and hear on radio is the same Jesse we know up here, and the same one ive met at the Bar, he is a real guy. This is not a commentary on what he believes i will leave that for another discussion, i just want to point out that Jesse is for real, its not a line of B.S. that is him, take it or leave it.

By your defination...you would like to give the government more power wouldn't you. You believe more government regulation would fix the problem - which is further from the truth (and isn't it funny how most of the Treasury Sec is from a bank - Goldman Sachs)

GET RID OF THE FED.

First Advice to the Occupy Movement

Break the chains of the right left, us versus them, paradigm. It will only serve to distract.

Do not allow yourselves to be taken over the democrats/republicans, down that path lies failure.

Beware instigators. There will be those who will try to convince you to commit violence, vandalism or other illegal acts. Shun and ignore them.

Realize that the media will try to make you appear illegitimate. Defeat their attempts by doing nothing illegitimate. First they mock you...

Avoid issues of emotion and divisiveness, focus on that which unites you. The media, which is the tool of the enemy, keeps the masses focused on issues like gay marriage, abortion, socialism. While these issues are important to many, those battles are for later and in many cases are impossible to resolve in todays world.

Find mechanisms by which the common man identifies with you. If they see a person in khaki's and a polo, someone like them, being maced the outrage will grow.

Find a few uniting issues that EVERYONE will get behind. For example:

- The federal reserve system fosters corruption and the redistribution of wealth from the many to the few. It must be abolished

- The large international banks are the enemy. Throughout history those who inspire and are admired have fought the international bank. Emulate them.

- The wars are the tools of the banks, who fund both sides just like they profit on both sides of each bubble. They care naught for the deaths of our troops, or the civilians of other lands.

- Glass–Steagall must be restored. This is one of the main tools by which the banks defeat us.

There will be more.

Jesse used to be in a biker gang also, either the Mongols, or Bandidos. That is some real life #. They are at war with the Hell's Angels, killing each other. He said he didn't want to raise anymore money than what he would make in his four years as governor. Why does someone spend millions to get a job that pays 150,000 a year? It's obvious they are corrupt and want the kickback/lobby money that can come with the job. Some of you people sound like little kids.

That certainly is interesting, but I can understand why he would want to say "Navy SEAL" as opposed to "frogman to the UDT 12". Just out of curiosity, have you ever served in the military?

Yes I did, I served 12 years in the REME in the British Army and joined when I left school and I like his investigations but don't like it when he says at the beginning of every episode that he was a navy seal.
That's like me saying I was in the SAS which is rubbish.
My brother and also my father served in the RAF and my Dad flew Dakotas during the second world war over Germany. My brother served in the Falklands and I ws in Northern Ireland then Germany was my last posting.
