Debunked? What's to debunk? GB was putting on a show with croc tears. Wow, willfully ignorant I dare say. No you are right I am slow kid who can't be bothered to read other than the first few paragraphs I will admit, due to the title of the thread. So I didn't feel necessary to sift thru the ensuing battle of the minds.
I actually used to enjoy GB when I was younger (and naïve er). Now I see him as a hate spewing actor that helps perpetuate ignorance in America. After awhile I became anti american due the fact GB is so bloody radical AND mainstream. Slowly I realized that its the govt that is the problem, not the people. I end this otherwise useless post on an otherwise useless topic (imho) with this - I'm just a rodeo clown hater what do I know?

Glen beck is a Moron, No one ever takes him serious, he is so wrong and has been that way for so long,, Plus he loves the banks and socialism, he is a socialist though and though.. I like the way he rips people of with that selling gold on goldline.. If people still listen to him after that they deserve what they get,,,

Scroll through threads on ATS where members question the OWS movement. There are multiple comments about anyone denying the movement "will regret it", will be swinging from lampposts, and other such violent imagery. Other online forums contain similar messages of how if the government (who is somehow going to be our benevolent savior) doesn't confiscate the wealth of the rich, violence will occur. Not in a predictive social behavior sort of way, but in a threatening sort of way.

And when anyone questions the logic of the demands being made (which is inevitable because there is no logic in most cases), you are called shill, traitor, stupid and otherwise.

This "movement", which will fizzle and die much faster than the Tea Parties, is a good example of mob mentality, which has always, always been taken over by those with agendas. Because why not? Dumdums who fall into the mob mentality are easily manipulated.

I don't care for Glenn Beck but this is definitely at heart an Anti American movement. Its followers might not believe so now, but wait and see.

Once they realize that the vast majority of Americans don't agree with the aims of OWS, it will fizzle.

Now, it would be nice if the END THE FED movement gained some traction. That movement could represent a real threat to the elite. It's one that OWS could never support because the levels of big brother government spending they seek need the banks to be more powerful than they currently are. These morons don't understand how the government/banking system/corporations work.

They are begging to become slaves. OWS is the bankers' wet dream. Just like the "populist" anti-bank clamor after the Panic of 1907 that created the Federal Reserve System, which is nothing but a mechanism to keep the poor down and the elite on top.

Once again, easily manipulated sheep are making demands that show how ignorant they are, thinking they are empowered when they are actually just asking for tighter controls and more power for the elite they claim to hate.

End the Fed, Return to the Free Market Capitalism that the Fed ended.
The Socialism "99%" crud can go away.

As to the protests themselves, I'm pretty sure Beck was hardly the first to predict them. Many others, including many sociologists (or something of that nature), have been predicting this for many years now. It's pretty much inevitable with the way things have been for decades now.
