Your back and allegiance is with the banks and TPTB. It is established that on this day you have formally threw your nation under the bus. Your true colours have now been shown, no backing out, no nothing. You are apart of the problem since you have yet to bring forth one solution. Everytime you attack me just proves my point.

Do not ever reply to me as you are a shill and this proves it.

Ignorance is bliss, isn't it. It makes sense though considering you live in one of the most bankrupt states in America. How are those years of socialist policies working for you guys now in Jersey? You are one of the sheeple I've heard so much about...blindly following your liberal, socialist leaders. Lol

It isn't that they don't directly represent the 99%, it is that we are ALL part of the 99%. The part that ISN'T in the elite's special club. I don't have my views exactly represented by the whole OWS movement either but I'm sure there are bits and pieces that represent most of my views if combined.

That is the point. I hope you understand that what they are doing, they are doing for the rest of America, even though it doesn't align with everybody's views because nobody can.

Everybody make up your own mind... Everybody is the 99% (including the 1% in a way) - as someone already stated it's just a slogan.
If you disagree with someone's statement who is protesting then make your own statement as you are part of the 99%.
No one is talking for you, you speak for yourself. Go down there (wallstreet or your local occupy protest) and make yourself be heard. If what you say is true and meaningful other folks will listen. Of course if it's the same old banter of divisiveness and derision it will quickly be passed over.

Follow or read #OWS and or #occupywallstreet (and other occupynameyourcity) on the twitter feeds...

Watch live feed and read side comments on the live feeds from GlobalRevolutionwww.livestream.com... Spend some time to get to see all of the ideas being tossed about...

The teaparty group Fed up USA has issue an open letter www.fedupusa.org... 10/an-open-letter-from-fedupusa-to-occupy-wall-street-protestors-all-over-the-country/

Labor unions are representing their people... Some politicians (although democrats) are voicing their's and their constituent's concerns too (Bernie Sanders and Dennis Kucinich)...

This is not a trick, this is not 'Hippies", or Anarchists, or what/who ever (although some Americans are those things and hold those beliefs)... It is real Americans who have all sorts of ideas... You are free to be there or not... If you feel your voice isn't being represented make your voice heard - Bashing others who are voicing their opinions isn't voicing yours.

Follow the links i've presented here and check the movements twitter feeds make up your own mind and state your POV... You too are the 99%... Smearing others with disinfo or mistaken ideas isn't voicing an opinion it's basically lying or trying to lead people astray from what they themselves can figure out by going to the sources... Those old ways of bashing and misstating things are out dated in the new post internet trolling. Those games have been realized by eveeryone who ever has used youtube... (Also, check out youtube and reddit)

Everybody use your own powers to read and figure things out for yourself visit and contemplate what is being said on the links i've provided here...

Now is the time for all of US

Sorry dude, those figures are accurate. Research it yourself, but here
is a good starting point. University of California Study

This document focuses on the "Top 1%" as a whole because that's been the traditional cut-off point for "the top" in academic studies, and because it's easy for us to keep in mind that we are talking about one in a hundred. But it is also important to realize that the lower half of that top 1% has far less than those in the top half; in fact, both wealth and income are super-concentrated in the top 0.1%, which is just one in a thousand. To get an idea of the differences, take a look at an insider account by a long-time investment manager who works for the well-to-do and very rich. It nicely explains what the different levels have -- and how they got it.

soooooo, how many NAMES you got to go with that 1% ???
do you have an identity of any of the 69 million+ people you are ranting about ??

wouldn't just happen to be the local coffee shop owner though, would it?
nah, that's just another capitalist railing at the system that provides the opportunity they have exercised ... sweet.

69 million+ people comprise that 1% and you folks aren't even searching or protesting in the right dang country ... look around you !!!
the Federal Reserve is not owned or operated by Americans ( a few but not all ) and Hoover was commenting on the FR, not socialistic whining.

He is the "banker" you rally against

don't get me wrong, he speaks a good story, he presents calm and collected but he IS what you protest ... how is that "changing" anything ???????

why don't you put some honesty out there for a second.....instead of your great US of A rant.......

lets start with the 10 most happiest countries in the world

10. Luxembourg – 7.6 points
9. Guatemala – 7,6 points
8. Canada – 7,6 points
7. Sweden – 7,7 points
6. Australia – 7,7 points
5. Finland – 7,7 points
4. Iceland – 7,8 points
3. Austria – 8,0 points
2. Switzerland – 8,1 points
1. Denmark – 8,2 points

the great US of A was 17th

Source

Funny how they are mostly socialist welfare states is it not...and i know you have called them lazy...but lets look at the unemployment figures...because i was born and raised in Canada and glady worked all my life...and i now live in England and hmmm still work and support others around me...ok lets look.

Denmark 4.20%
Switzerland 2.80
Austria 4.30
Iceland 6.70
Finland 6.60
Australia 5.30
Sweden 6.60
Canada 7.10

and the great US of A

United States 9.10

Source

so you see i am sure that at least 10% of the US population right now are being represented by OWS.

You can condemn welfare states all you want but the facts speak for themselves....are they the absolute best solution...no...the best solution will be when people start to realize we are all the same and we start to work for each other on a global scale...not for the corporates but for humanity itself.

the Capitalist way of life Sucks...IT is dog eat dog...and shows not one ounce of respect for people...but only for the all mighty dollar....and personally i am happier being broke and helping pthers than i would ever be being rich and greedy.

You know why i don't have much...it is because i choose it and enjoy giving away what i earn to help those whom need a start in life.

keep your capitalist ways.....keep your worthless money....keep your arrogant rant....because if your not happy in your life...why was it even worth living it.

It is not just the States that needs a good fixing...It is humanity itself that needs to be fixed.....Stop being brainwashed by TPTB and start to stand up for the rights of human kind.....way to go to all the people willing to stand up right now and be counted.....Is this about hanging the bankers....not really they are becoming the scapegoats just like back in the 1930's TPTB playing their trump cards to put the world to war yet again.... all to fill their filthy pockets through the blood of the slaves.

Well. let's see. The top 400 wealthiest americans make mor than the bottom 150 million americans. Let's do the math. 150,000,000 into 400 = 2.6% Ergo, 2.6% make more than 50% of the poorest of the total population of america, roughly. This is wonderful capitalism at it's best. You support that? You're a spiritual cretin.

L O V E that liberal math

however, let's look at the facts ... IF you claim 150,000,000 Americans are vying for said jobs ... let's not forget 50 million = illegals / not qualified for any job in America ... so that leaves 100,000,000 another 40% or 40,000,000 are minors and not permitted to be employed ... so now you're down to about 60,000,000 and you really should deduct the baby-boomers who did their time already ... so deduct another 30,000,000 and now you might have 30,000,000 of "available" employable persons ... interesting reality there junior.
care to redo your math based on reality ??? instead of pure fantasy?

oh please, stats again ????
they only reflect the opinion of the writer and participants ...

do tell, which of those "countries" (besides canada) is larger than TX or CA ???
what works for a few, seldom works for the most.

any chance you have figures for the time BEFORE outsourcing began to the benefit of several of those countries?? nah, why show the whole story

ya know what else is increasing rapidly in most of those countries you list ???
crime ... don't we have enough of that already?

seems they didn't eliminate, greed or sloth or lust or coveting for that matter.
so, what improved ???
oh that's right, ppl made a decision to be happy in their misery ... which happens every day, everywhere ... nothing new there either.

work for each other on a global scale ????
so, what have ANY of those countries you listed done in the last decade to work for America on a global scale????? what have any of those countries done or produced for the "sake of humanity" ??

I think the point is actually where is the wealth?

If 400 people have more of the wealth of a country than millions of the countrymen, that is a truly rubbish system. There are far more hard working Americans than is represented by the distribution of wealth indicates. The most hard working have no chance of ever attaining 'wealth' that is why we protest.

To think that the numbers look any better when divided into who is actually working is to delude yourself. Many of the wealthiest do not actually 'work' they are the real leaches. Not the children, or the older people nor the unemployed who are or were looking for work, not even the immigrants who believed that life in US would be better. The majority of employed and unemployed people in US support the system. They consume the essentials whilst a tiny percentage appropriate the wealth. Only an uneducated fool would condone this system.

Oh and those who do not feel represented by the OWS protesters should (as others have said) join them and represent yourself. Whether you like it or not, change will come, choose humanity or an inhumane system, it's that simple.

After reading your previous post, maybe you are starting to get it. You are right at the moment, people in general do not work for the good of humanity, that is the point. That is why we protest, to change an outdated system. If you see what we see and feel the same way we do then join the protest, lets change it.

give sheeple (you, and/or me) a bit of theatre, to make sheeple believe that "something will change".

i could be wrong. but msnbc dylan's and other talkingheads' reactions and comments (especially that economist who "never heard of bilderberg") tell a different story. it smells fake. but then again, i could be wrong. and so could you.

Nice to see you lack original thought and be a puppet of the banks who this group is deadset against! Keep on doing the bidding of the banks and watch how far it gets you.

that's why you have celebrities making headlines because they "support" the protests. that's
why you have dylan from msnbc trying to pull wool over your eyes. that's why you have funbois
talking # if you criticise, or being skeptical about, these protests.

if nothing else, now even fake liberals have their tea-party. also, 9/11 truth ends wars, crisis,

The government can not be trusted.. I believe that is universally agreed upon by the majority of people with at least a semi functional brain... The ultra rich and corporations along with the banking industry and wall street manipulators shell out huge amounts of money to the crooks that award lucrative government contracts to corporations that the ultra rich control and take big profits from by short selling stocks to wipe out the small investors whose stocks they pick up when they bottom out and place in their portfolios... The government works in other ways to benefit the ultra rich like having continuous never ending wars so they can award no bid contracts to corporations that are controlled by the ultra rich and a lot of the time the elected government lackeys that are reaping huge profits while our military families are split up and hoping their loved one comes home unscathed, which often isn't the case.... As blatantly obvious and wrong as this is, why are those that are taking a stand to change the wrongs that have been done to the majority of the people in this country the ones that are being made out to be the cause of all that is wrong? when I was young I didn't see the wickedness of the world as clearly as I now do. I didn't question whether my country was right or wrong or that there was or wasn't an all forgiving supreme being on the side I was willing to go into combat for as an 18 year old Marine... Things weren't as visible as they now are and the guilty parties weren't as blatant or like I said before I did not see as clearly then as I do now...

OWS does not represent me.

In the 3rd Grade I played checkers everyday at recess... and this guy named Clint beat me everytime. One day I asked.."Clint, everyday you beat me...How?" He said because my Dad taught me to look ahead 2-3 moves and see where it's going.

I never forgot that.

Let's look ahead 2-3 moves for the OWS folks... Let's say you achieve the overthrow of Wall Street and change the Capitalist system so "despised" by the protestors...

What economic and political system do you install?

You want equality..how do you dispense it? Who is in charge of dispensing it? How do you make sure the dispensers do not become corrupt and still dispense equality equally and not play favorites... Kinda like raiding one guitar factory while iggnorring the other.

Will you equalize all of the wealth? Are million dollar actors immune while million dollar CEOs are "equalized"...?

If everyone is equal and recieves an equal share, will there be incentives to innovate and create new technologies and products?

What happens when your neighbor gets the same amount as you, even though you work harder? Where will you work? Why would someone take on the challenge of a business and the inherent risks when they will be compensated no more than the janitor?

Will people want to be brick masons and street sweepers for the good of humanity and equality and liberation of the common people? If a doctor makes no more than a news stand vendor...why be a doctor going to school all those years?

Believe it or not, people have egos and needs and intricacies that makes the individual unique...and it is certain things that motivate them. Some are called to a higher calling. Frankly, the majority and myself included...do not.

The system and ideas being pushed have been tried around the world...of all countries... the Chinese went hard core Communist after 1945 and now...2011, are moving more towards our old model...Capitalism... and their people like it. they like cars and new toys and cigarettes... so much so that China now fears the rising power of a middle class...they have built empty cities and cooked the books to just keep the new middle class working and happy.

The other socialist welfare states are all going bakrupt, cutting the equal distribution of services, free higher education, free medical treatments...if the OWS crowd is so enlightened...go read a paper or blog or net article on the situation in England, France, Italy, Spain, Norway, and the host of others facing a wake up call.

Socialism, marxism, communism...all sound good...but the money has to come from somewhere...and when no incentive is offered to excell...no one does.

The distribution of equallity has to be managed until the Marxist Utopia is reached...the secret is it is never realized and the distributors of equality then become the new ruling class.... for reference, go back and study 1960s-70s-80s Soviet Union.

Most of the OWS crowd do not remember the crappy cars made, nor do they remember the food shortages and empty meat cases where the food was thrown out from behind a door and quickly shut as the crowds fought over scraps... the long lines for shoes...

What makes America and American capitalism uniques is the individual has a right to excell... not everyone does, but they have that right. If you want to go to night school and learn about investing and business and work 12-14-16 hours a day trying to get a business off the ground you can.

If you want to graduate high scholl...get a mediocre job, eat Doritos and watch the race on Sunday...you can.

But then don't complain about how one has more than the other. You can not always equate worth by the physical effort involved. Believe it or not, a CEO is a commodity and can make money for the company that hires him or her. That is why some are paid millions... because they make tens of millions for the company and stock holders...

Is a quarterback on a football team really worth millions of dollars? He works about 4-5 hours on Sunday, trains maybe 4 days a wekk and for only about 8-9 months a year...yet makes millions? Because when the team needs him to throw tough down passes he can...the team wins...the crowds come to see the team... and buy souveneirs and hot dogs and videos...and the team owners make money.. lots of money.

Same with business... the CEO sees a trend or detail someone else missed...is able to turn a challenge into an opportunity...goes in at 5am to see the reports...makes contacts and uses them...turns it into a business paln... and makes money. If everybody could...we all would be CEOs. BUT we can't.

So I work 45 hours doing the best I can and have a farm... living a good life.

Others whine and bitch about how life and the system is unfair and protests and joins the OWS crowd.

misunderstandings are apparently abundant.
first, there was no establishment of the level of wealth these 400 possess. (ie. no foundation)
second, there may be 150,000,000 Americans (haven't checked lately) but, they are not all able & available for work.

lastly, if you have to ask "where is the wealth" ?
then i would suggest you do some reading ... historically speaking, the wealth of the nation has been systematically pilfered by the agenda sponsored at the Federal Reserve. Legislated and wagered via Congress then sold as a commodity on Wall Street.

If you haven't figured out the above for yourself, you have a long road to travel.
You and those like yourself "perceive" wealth as materialistic possessions, i would disagree.

Money is the grease that makes the wheel go round and round.
congress USED TO be the gatekeepers (moneychangers as assigned Constitutionally), over time, they have become nothing more than cheap and often drunk gamblers.

They have been prostituted for generations (since creation of the Fed Reserve) by lobbyists of too many varieties to list, all the while, being groomed to accept 'the system' as they "perceive" it rather for the reality it is.

So the system has become corrupted ... your point?
what system hasn't ?? at least with this one (OMG capitalism) there is room for innovation, growth and adaptability. show me any other system that provides such ... i am open to suggestions.

look, having reasons to protest isn't the problem ... i can add some issues to that list which you folks haven't even considered or mentioned. but that isn't what we're discussing.

The OP states "Those OWS people don't represent the 99%" and i agree. They do NOT represent me or anything American. Those OWS people condemn consumerism (all consumerists) and that IS me.
and, above all ... i like being a consumer because i'm an active producer ... without the consumers, what reason would i have to produce?

or, do you want me to produce FOR the govt ???
i'd rather not ... we Hired them, remember? and don't go semantic on me and talk elections ... they are in the seat (however they got there) and we pay them to do a job ... that means, we hired them !!! it's just that simple.

look, i'm no fan of the "elites" but i think your perception and mine, of who they are, are two worlds apart.
If you can provide a few names of these 1%, i would be quite interested, really.
if you care to share "what the plan for recovery is", i'm certainly listening.

me thinks you are placing far too much responsibility on people who have no impact on the things you listed above. and, your last "threat line" ... surprise, we've heard that before too.
guess i'll believe it when i see it

in the meantime, those who desire better, do something about it ... 4 weeks now and what's changed?
media still ignoring the "demands" (mostly cause there aren't any)
more ppl gettin on board the train to nowhere (yet there is still no plan)
less communication within the ranks (can vividly see separation everywhere / ideology)

Zucotti Park is certainly worse for the wear.
where is the "unification" in keeping the place clean or presentable?
aren't they responsible adults there?
oooh, that's right, they want someone else to be responsible, i get it, do you?

and on a personal note ... most of these people seem to "like" Paul, Cain or Obama and to me, that is the epitome of the blind leading the deaf and i prefer no part of it.

as a side note: i find the wealth of any nation can be quantified by its wisdom not by any amount of a perceived illusion
