Oh we understand that all too well. The reason the Ipods and other toys keep coming up is because they are screaming they are POOR. Well I have grand children and I worry to, but I also had a father that grew up in the Depression and fought in WWII.

These kids aren't even CLOSE to knowing POOR....

If you want to understand poverty you need to talk to their grand parents and great grand parents..... but conveniently MOST of them are already gone. Interesting timing if you ask me, and now....the boomers...the children of the ones that lived it and KNEW are next on the hit list.... after people like me are gone, changing all the history books will be pretty easy since they have been tweaking them for decades as it is...

Once the baby boomers are gone there wont be anyone left that knows the truth...and THEN they really will be POOR...equally poor though

Your protest demands, should you succeed will do them in....all the same

Do you REALLY think Main Street can survive the demands on your list?

Nobody is protesting small business. True.
They are blaming corporations for the unemployment, when blame should be placed in DC.
Misguided as usual.
Unless they're shills for the current administration, that is.

You don't know how they got those iPods. It's funny how when the Egyptians and Tunisians were using them to start a revolution everyone was supportive of technology, now that American youth do they same you spit on them.

Then again, if this was a Tea Party rally most of you would be masturbating to it. Just hypocrisy all around right? My grandfather is 86, he'll tell you these kids have every right to be upset. He was dirt poor during the depression too.

While not on the list of demands, one of the *goals* of the protest is the re election of Obama....

No one is saying they don't have the right to be upset or to protest. What we are saying is they are being misdirected, misguided and misinformed

BIG difference.

No one is spitting on them, we are trying to SHOW them something VERY important to ensure they DO have a better future than the one it currently looks like they will inherit

They are blaming big business for corrupting the American political system.

They are blaming the banks for tanking the economy and then using it as an excuse to
institute austerity.

Are you aware that during the depression & WWII there were *ration tickets*???? Each family got ration tickets for things from some foods, to shoes to tires....

Blow out your shoes??? too damn bad, get some duct tape (if you can afford it) cuz you are not *allowed* to get new shoes until next yr.....

www.ehow.com...

Interestingly the items were mainly scarce for a two fold reason. During the depression people weren't working and production was low.....then the war started which created a high demand for things.....

Who paid the price??? certainly not Wallstreet

We are trying to show them how many things are repeating themselves.....history has a funny way of doing that.

Wallstreet crashed, then run on the banks......enter Depression and WAR....

Is this the future you want for them?

They already know that, which is why there was this huge anti-war protest on the 10th Anniversy of the Afghan Invasion. There have also been protests in front of the headquarters of the Fed Reserve on the west coast. Trust me, they don't need to ride of the Tea Party/GOP train to knowledge. They already know and trust me, they aren't going to be signing on for that ride.

You keep saying the same thing over and over. DC is bought and payed for by Wall Street.

You sound like you'd blame the gun manufacturer for a murder instead of the person behind the trigger.

I would like nothing better than to be wrong

Truly

History will tell the tale I suppose.

If you start to see people like me rounded up and arrested or flat out executed.... You will know we weren't wrong, should that happen I hope at least YOUR eyes will be opened, because by then YOU will be their only hope
