The 1% don't want to be part of the 100%.

That is why they are the 1%. Doesn't matter how they got to where they are they agree that you are beneath them.

My job is to protect this country. Even the morons in NYC.

You are a mercenary, do not delude yourself. Did I say I was better? You tried to paint me as a socialist then you find out I am a business owner and then say I think I am better that you?

I will admit I will never sink so low as to kill people just for a paycheck.

I will admit I did not buy into any of the wars we have waged this century.

I am not big oils killer for hire.

So we should just lump all the honest folks with the criminal minority?

Sounds like collective punishment to me...

Oh wait...That's typical of the collectivist mentality. The hive mind generation.

The OP asks who wants to be part of the 100%.

I think that is what the 99% is trying to do but the 1% don't want it. They are fine being the 1%

I built MY business out of nothing. I am dirt poor but I am still able to run my shop.

Do you understand who and what these people are?!? WTF?

I never called you a socialist.

All I said is that we shouldn't paint with broad brushes and that envy is a sin.

Now the people organizing the Occupy movement ARE socialists. And communists. These people and their ideal would have you give up your successful coffeeshop...Because being a successful individual does not jive with collectivist ideology.

Be careful who you stand with and why.

Secondly, it is not my job to convince you that war is or is not just.

I do what others won't or can't do for whatever reason.

That doesn't matter to me.

You're making threats that are idle. You are looking down your nose at me and others for our chosen paths as if you know better than I or any other individual how we should lead our lives, how we should view the world, and who we should perceive as the enemy.

Yes it does jive! You do not understand what is going on.

They are against CRIMINALS whether legal or illegal are taking what we could earn and buying YOUR opinion with it.

More condescension. As if I can't look at who's organizing these protests and what these people are saying and making up my own mind about what I see.

Socialism doesn't NOT jive with individuality. Neither does communism. You should probably do some research on that if you believe otherwise.

ETA:

I'm against criminals as well. But Our justice system, the very basis of American jurisprudence expressly prohibits collective punishment. Otherwise YOU could be arrested and punished for the crimes of someone you know, simply because of your association.

That is the second time you mention collective punishment.

How about just punishing the guilty you think American jurisprudence can at least do that?

Sure can.

But while we're all screaming for more socialism we forget that it is this very government that caused the problem, turned a blind eye to it when it became apparent, and then rewarded it by bailing it out.

Wall St. isn't the problem. The fact that our government doesn't enforce contracts, individual and civil rights, and micromanages the economy IS.

What we need is restoration. Not fanciful dreams, realized or not, of some revolution that OWS people clamor for...Until the shooting starts anyway.

Look at your signature man, its all about death and killing. Then you spout off about sin earlier?

We do not need socialism we need to put limits as to how much power over others. People cannot handle power it is always corrupted.

Justice will be served one way or the other. Sound LIBERAL enough for you?

My signature is firstly, not the topic. And secondly, I am not the guy you wanna get into an religious argument over whether defense of oneself or defense of ones nation is or is not permissible under Christian doctrine.

The only thing I believe we need to limit is the power of government. Why? Because it is easily co-opted by moneyed interests. Not the other way around. Restoring a constitutional government SHOULD BE what all Americans want. But alas it seems you and others just want to tear a nation apart just to have it your way.

Where I come from that's called being a bully.
