Which in no way makes communism itself evil. Communism is a very noble idea, but it doesn't work in the real world because of people like Joseph Stalin.

Read what I posted, I said that his evil actions were not communist ideals. I never said he wasn't a communist, he was just a jaded one. No, I'm not chasing around the internet for information on the obvious. It's really sad that so many Americans have no idea how little democracy we actually have. We already are at least a socialist state.

It doesnt work in the real world because it is a terrible idea, not becaise Stalin spoiled it for the rest of everybody. I guarantee you the tyranny was under Lenin too, just in a different way. Did you have a Marxist professor in college or something? Where did you get your ideas on this?

I like the idea of a communist state, with democratic elected leadership, and democratic decision making. Which is pretty much what our country is going towards.

Look, you have to know that communism is a Totalitarian system. That is part of what makes it what it is. I'm sorry you believe that idealistic nonsense people have fed you, but the truth is that communism is and always was a terrible authoritarian totalitarian dictatorship where people are told what to do, when to do it, and how to do it. You trade your freedom for a little bit of "security". You don't have to think, you just follow the rules set for you. It is the ultimate authoritarian system.
