Wow. Awesome survey, very relevant to current events, and smack on the dot. Kudos!

Surveys depict the average opinion, and I think the next govt. should factor that in, and they should have a "litmus test" as to their performance. We should be able to rate our govt's performance, and have them change accordingly. Why doesn't TPTB have polls?

Answer?

It was (point out where I might be wrong...be being mislead.)

--just an exercise! The people were all actors with scripts!

and what happened behind the scenes? We don't know yet...

--just like the exercise of hijacking on 9-11 and the real occurrence took place.

--just like an exercise on the same day as Gabby Giffords' shooting, and another exercise had been taking place, but at least the judge they wanted was shot! (The supposed gurney with Giffords shows no blood.... I think the same shot was used in both the exercise AND the real giffords video, but also................giffords is being proved to be non-existent!

--these exercises now are cover-ups for something more deadly.

watch
wellaware1.com... and look for strange things (actors seen in different situations)

and the Occupy Wall Street video, ends with a chalk mark on the street, "police", for where the actor policemen must stand.

Anybody agree about more fake?

governments to blame then why protest wall street? pretty simple

take the tpm they werent happy they werent a bunch of happy campers but what did they do?

they took it to the people and exercised their power by their vote the way it was meant to be and what happened was a change in congress a change in other elections and stopped the democratic party cold in its tracks.

and they are still around and what exaclty has ows done but get arrested?

this is a constitutional republic the system is setup to exact change bunch of "rebels without a cause or a clue"

will not accomplish anything whatsoever.

The corpirations drove the mom and pop stores out of America, not the gov. The American gov is not outsourcing our jobs and attempting to find slave labor.

Those "regulation" you are talking about some of the only things that protects the middle class from the corpirate monster we let be created in this country.

Like most programs you missed the point, social programs are not intended to stimulate the econemy. They are intended to show that we are an evolved species that takes care of others.. Some of us are atleast.

You cant make a prediction like that - how can you be so certain that this movement, which is made up of so many different races, religions, ages, political and social differences could be swayed or "hijacked"?
On October the 15th it goes global - then we will know if this is real, or as you say has become swayed and corrupted. I think Occupy will be all over our tv screens.
Why the herbal tea party? Im not american - so if ive missed an "in"joke im sorry.
Watch the livestream - its an eye opener.

Funny, WallStreet has been ripping people off and attempting to control the global value of the dollar for generations now, isnt that why you complain about the FED all day also?

I am one person not partisan and wont give either of them a free ride, So guess i am pretty far from you talking heads out there playing team politics.

I'll remember this come election time when you are attempting to push a candidate on me and slinging you're election propaganda.

A better poll would be how many admins republicans and how many of those admins let their personal views out on this forum.

I think if you are a political person you should only admin or comment on none political issues, while holding an admin title. Sucks, but so goes responsibility.

41 Flags and only two pages in replies...would definetly love to read internal cerebral activity....common dont be shy...simply structure your reply and make your voice or thoughts known. It isn't a leap for man kind, but its a humble requirement in being active.

remember this.....?

"I believe that, if violence is to occur, that those responsible should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and that they should expect such prosecution as a necessary outcome."

How is "violence" being defined here?

Personally, I don't believe that actions against property can be defined as violent. Violence against PEOPLE has already occurred, namely by the NYPD. Yes, I hope the will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Unfortunately, I doubt that will happen.

In addition, I notice that such actions are often the fulfillment of a false flag meant to discredit the larger group.

I believe these protests are encouraged by the Obama socialist/communist followers and that Obama and his billion dollar machine will work to bring things to a boil in the months preceding the election.

The playbook is right out of "Mein Kampf"

I tend to think the people who keep endlessly repeating stuff like this verbatim are the real followers.

Not in this lifetime. Lenin stood before the "Duma" and stated: "Comrades, we can never be equally rich, but we can be equally poor".... two weeks later he was "died".

The people that really know including even Lenin himself are and were fully aware that socialism/communism is a dead end street. The "people" under those systems are slaves...to the "elite" only its much worse under those systems than capitalism could ever be.

And to my black friends... you were better off as slaves, at least you knew who your masters were. You are headed toward your second slavery to a mass of unknown bureaucrats.

Filled in the survey but it honestly seemed like a propaganda tool in favour of the movement to me that made them seem as though they have done nothing wrong so far even though they blatantly had when they blocked a bridge and roads despite being asked by the police authorities not to.

This is all Reactionary and the problem is that a lot of these Wall Baggers are simply protesting all for the sake of protesting, without realizing they just might make matters worse because they may be falling right into the Problem, Reaction, Solution trap.

Still, I'm kinda mixed. Kinda have a bad feeling about this.

Perhaps you should sit back open up a coke or open a bag of chips and listen up....keep in mind, history always repeats itself.

"All" reactionary? I think that is probably a very broad brush you are using there. People are fed up. People are doing something about it. Personally, I'm a bit too cynical to believe in mass protest as an effective means of solving much, and know from experience that many of these kids haven't the most clear-headed understanding of the problems they are protesting, but, as with the Tea Party, I still tend to lean in favor of people organizing. It's good start, and I'll wait to split hairs and make broad pronouncements when the dust settles.

TPTB and the mainstream media simply won't allow any movement of any sort to exist outside the left-right paradigm. Divide and conquer...

The Teaparty started out nonpartisan but quickly became associated with "right wing" in the public mind. The opposite for the occupiers (left).

It doesn't have to be this way! But if enought people pile on it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Those with strong partisan bent on ATS and other messageboards help this process too. Don't be a part of it! It is not too late. I am a Christian Fundamentalist who has very little in common with the "hippies" culturally or politically, yet I strongly support anything which is against the corrupt banking system. I support these "filthy hippies" because I want the movement to become more than leftists. I call on fellow christians, conservatives, and rightward-leaning people to join the movement and become a part of it so it doesn't become trapped in amber on the right-left spectrum!!!!

Wake up people and take back your destiny.

Great survey.
This movement will win.
Sure there might be some injuries and violence.
But not from the protesters, they are peaceful... just mad as hell and trying to get things done
that would never get done if people sit idly bye doing nothing (watching tv, going to work, taking showers).
Violence is a direct result of the incorrect use of force from police, who are trying to corral the heard like mule.

Its great to see the pigs running around telling the protesters where to go...
"go here, go there, not here, dont go there..." ,
"Arrest that man for standing 3 seconds too long in the street",
"corral dem cattle with an orange fishing net and spray them with mace untill they flop like fishies",

Its already millions of people when you add up all the people in all the cities and throw in a couple hungry picture snapping tourists while your at it.

Go Occupy Wallstreet Mo Fu K ass!!

one comming to a city near you,
good networking opportunities
to start new businesses
and relate with like minded people
lets link up and and share our new ideas

Given that the internet is the new era of news and information, i would be very careful in assuming that as you so call them as the TPTB are as grand as they have chosen to show themselves. Anything digital is and will be open to intrusion no matter who and how many geeks are employed.

It is not tied in to any political party,or race, or religion - it is just us ...the 99%

Obama has made some pretty strong statements recetnly, and the people on the street probably have very good intentions, but I don't think they initiated this.

Nonetheless, if people don't react and watch it all carefully, participate carefully, they're still doing the right thing in the intentions of their heart.
