There is one website in particular that will give you all kinds of warnings about a particular grave yard in New Hampshire. Me and some of my colleagues went anyway... we found nothing, we felt nothing and as much as the site would like you to believe that a negative entity will follow you out of there.... it never happened.

My top picks would be:
Pine Hill a.k.a. Blood Hill Cemetery is pretty good, in Hollis, NH
Another good one is Spider Gates
Gilson Road
Vale Cemetery

Those are all in NH right over the MA line.

Are you talking about the closed down asylum in Danvers? If so they made a whole movie about it:

I'm sorry your mother is having to put up with this. It will wear you down, drain your energy, keep you on edge. It gets old or you get used to it Some people just don't want people to know something is going on. They are worried that people will think they are crazy. Let me tell ya the people in these groups know these things are real.

Every group (unless just started) has evidence of this. I will say that legitimate paranormal groups DO NOT charge for their time to help people out. Not one blasted red cent EVER! And it's confidential. The people in these groups are honest and give a d**m about others.

Check out the National Paranormal Coalition. They have a list of groups that are legitimate, might be one in your area. So does T.A.P.S. (yes they are real) It sounds to me like your dad wouldn't be open to an investigation at this time.

You might want to do research, join a group, get involved, see what it is all about. Then you could talk with him and possibly help your mom out.

The intro for our group: Salem Paranormal Investigators (SPI) is a group of professional people dedicated to researching and investigating anomalous and paranormal activity in order to determine the possible cause or etiology of such phenomena. SPI always takes a critical and scientific approach to all its investigations--looking for normal causes of such activity before reaching a conclusion.

iamthatiam--and I'm a lead investigator for Salem Paranormal Investigators, and happy to help others. Check us out

WOW!!! Really?? . Do some research on this subject. It can change your life. We do this gladly. We use our own time our own money to help others. You are judging people you know nothing about. This is world wide. You don't know me. We train, we learn, we educate ourselves and others. We do. This is still a emerging field of study. Almost anyone can pitch in.

We do usually know a little bit more than the home owner, not always but sometimes. That's -why- they- call- us. And sometimes the excitement of having an investigation done. How many investigations have you been on? Why not try to join a group or start your own instead of bashing what you don't know? You might just get a kick out of it.
