Hey all

Not looking for an interpretation or meaning behind this dream, but it would be nice if someone had an idea.

In my dream I was being shown my old neighbourhood back home(Poland) by an unknown tourguide, In my head I was like, "that's my old building!", but it wasn't so we were warped to what I best remember of my old neighbourhood. I was overcome with joy, it felt like I was going to cry but couldn't. (1st realization of a dream)

We seemed to be traveling by streetcar, which wasn't there when I was growing up, and i doubt there is one there now. I was assured it was a dream when the tour guide turned out to be one of my oldest friends in this country(Canada), he's also from Poland. He was overjoyed, arms up and to the side like a victory stance. \o/

We got in an elevator (the building I grew up didn't have an elevator) whose doors were transparent, doors were closing and some lady decides last minute to try to get in... well she gets trapped between the door and the exterior of the elevator, and she starts getting dragged up, forehead bleeding from being dragged. Everyone in the elevator is shocked... I snap out of shock, press a button to stop the elevator, pry open the doors and help her inside. She said "Thank you for saving my life, it's the most someone has done for me" my reply was "I've done more in the last 2 min than I have in my life" or something along those lines.

*All my inner thoughts are in English, which would make sense that the conversation we had was also in English.

I'm still thinking as to what that meant lol.

It was one of the best dreams in a while, when I saw what I thought was my old building, but realized it wasn't, the entire setting sort of warped and looked like a mirage until it became what I remembered best about the old neighbourhood. It looked awesome.

you should made exercise and learn about lucid dreams.

I usually have the same dreams, often recurring. Im a combat veteran of numerous deployments so I usually dream about my weapon not firing when i need it to. I also dream about driving in a car over water, the car never sinks and its easy to drive over. I also dream about riding on a skateboard often and dreams of things terrible things happening to my family and my girlfriend never shows up to be there for me, she is also in most of my dreams and they are good, sometimes I have hot and heavy dreams about her as well.. I also dream about places ive never been to but seem to know them well.
