This line tells me everything I need to know :
-It's not up to me to research every candidate to prove a point-

So, you are willingly admitting that you will back any candidate you are ordered to back and won't do one bit of research on said individual. You have already conceded your individuality to the banks and they own you and know fully that they can manipulate you to do whatever the flip they want.

WE DO NOT WISH TO OVERTHROW OR TAKEOVER THE UNITED STATES, What WE DEMAND is private influence ended, fairness re-established. We want an end to the oppression of the average American. We demand a restoration of a Gov't "Of the people, By the people and for the people"!

Wanting to get rid of private influence is pretty much the same as saying you want communism, as communism abolishes all private property. You better watch what you wish for.

Private influence meaning that a multinational corporation today has absolutely too much to say about anything and only are looking out for themselves and not you and I. Yet it was ok for the Baggers to threaten and intimidate members of Congress. Your priorities are arsed backwards. Until you come up with an original though of your own composition I will consider taking you serious but until then no! Obvious is that you like being controlled and owned by the banks.

You are to either with this movement that is considerably bigger then any Bagger rally and get fully behind them or get out of the way, there is no third option. Either back the banks or the people! Time for you to choose a side!

By you continuing this onslaught against me tells me exactly where your allegiance lies.

You are so blind man, it is astounding.

You seem to believe that America is controlled by a giant Cabal of nefarious characters.

You seem to disapprove of it too...

But in this case you are protecting that same group with all your might. I have been to 3 occupy events
and they are not much different than the TEA PARTY. I didn't here one person talk about overthrowing the
government with OWS or the TP. You are going by the sentiment portrayed by the MSM or radios
that intentionally pick moon bats to speak of the groups intention.

Literally, you are providing the service of protecting the Banks and the Elites who have erected the banks
to enslave America. I don't get you, your to caught up on labels.

She isn't talking about the Republican Party... She is talking about the destruction of the Constitution.

Do what you will to the banks within the guide lines and we'd be with you. That however, sadly is NOT what the OWS is demanding.

Getting out of the way isn't an option if the goal is the destruction of The Declaration, Constitution or Bill of Rights...

sorry

We are demanding a return to Constitutional rule, the end of the political oligarchy, the end of the corporatism, the end of nefarious business practices, the restoration of American jobs, the restoration of the image of The USA throughout the world, restoration of The USA as a world leader in regards to manufactuering.

They will not address the issues or the principles of any of our founding documents....They are silent on the issue of defending the Constitution

And you are ALL missing the point by being blinded by politics.
It's the same two headed monster designed to distract and divide you all, and it clearly works. No matter what party is in power, AS HAS BEEN PROVEN, the gap between the insanely wealthy and the poor is widening.

They both bail out the largest corporations, they both accept bribes from corporate entities, they both fail on a massive scale...

This is exactly why it has taken so long to actually move America forward and why the corporations have been able to rape your country, you let them with your incessant party focus like warring tribes who can't see the invading force arriving on the shore!

Unless you can all drop the Republicrat BS I would suggest you just leave those who can think outside the box to do what real Americans should be doing. If you join in with all your single-minded political goals you'll destroy any chance America has left to actually get somewhere.

Hey, maybe you'll realize one day that your own party is just a guilty of the mess as the opponent. I hope you haven't missed the peaceful revolution by then.

None of us want an end to the United States so stop twisting it to suit some nefarious agenda.

Re-read what I had posted 5 times before replying because all you are seeing is "against the banks" and that is it.

As for McCain, he's just doing what he's told to do. Like 99.9% of the politicians out there.

Umm... We are talking about Herman Cain... Not John McCain....

LMAO

The Bill of Rights is designed to keep 51% of the people from trampling the rights of the other 49%.....

Democracy is majority rule.....

Yes, I am dangerous, I speak out, I speak up....I defend the very things you are looking to destroy.

If I am wrong then answer my earlier question

Which articles of the Constitution that have been trampled do you wish to restore??

Haven't seen that question answered. Sorry if I missed it

I find it to be the height of irony, that a politician.. any politician... would have the brass cajones to refer to anyone else as unamerican or unpatriotic. Please Mr. Cain, go kowtow to your party and special interests and lobbyists, like always, and resume the selling out of america in silence. Quite frankly, you and the rest of your political cronies should spend the rest of your lives incarcerated for fraud against the people you're supposed to.. are sworn to.. serve.

If you really believe the powers backing OWS with massive money will let the passion of the sincere in the crowd change their agenda, you really don't understand....

None of you seem to care the people making the protest possible want socialism/communism...

It's their money, it's their rhetoric, rhetoric designed to deceive those uninformed about government or history to hop on their band wagon and usher change....THEIR agenda, not yours. No one is saying YOU are calling for the destruction of the US, that is what you will get though. History repeats itself.....

By all means please explain to us disinformation agents and trolls which articles of the constitution your movement demands stand on or restore?

NO ONE has answered this question....

I think that says more than any of your opinions or accusations

Real Americans should be defending that piece of paper at all costs... show me how the demands of the protest protect, defend or restore this document, go ahead use the articles of our founding document to defend the demands

No matter which thread I put this challenge to....it's not been answered, it shuts down the thread for the most part

I find that quite interesting all by itself...

That is a great point. Herman Cain is basically saying Martin Luther King Jr. should not have been a dreamer with a vision. Instead he should have sucked it up and become a banker or maybe an insurance salesman and lived his whole life to make money and be a sellout to society.

That's right everyone, just live for money, that's what Cain is saying America is all about. It's not about freedom it's about selling yourself out, selling everything out to follow the status quo and make yourself marketable.

Cain has really shown his ignorance here. Let's be honest. It's not like his Pizza chain brought manufacturing jobs back to the U.S. or did anything significant. It's actually quite funny when people who start a commercial business, especially a restaurant think they are doing the economy and the world a service. What our country needs is manufacturing jobs. So what if you start up a coffee shop, that does not help the economy it just gives people a way to waste their money in the morning.

I'm done with Cain. And I let his comments about Ron Paul supporters slide. But this is way too out there. For a Black man to disrespect the civil rights movement in such a way, he has no idea what America is about. Think about it.

Mr. Cain learned from his parents to not make waves in a White Supremacist culture, to follow its dehumanizing rules, to sit in the back of the bus. Rosa Parks, too, did this, until she got tired of following those rules and refused to budge. These two good Americans display the divergent thinking in any power struggle, any abusive situation: do I "get along" to survive or "go against" to effect change.

Mr. Cain became the "good Negro", acceptable to those who hold power in the abusive relationship. Rosa Parks became the "uppity Negro", refusing to no longer go along with the abuse.

Going along with the current status quo, pretending that electing officials to govt will offer change, continuing to survive the abuse dished out by those in power, maybe hoping things will change when the abuser sees the error of his ways, is not how this country was founded. Rather, it is totally, fully, rightfully, and a right, to protest the actions of those in power, to put pressure on those we elect! It is American.

True grassroots movements for the 99% should be feared by those in power, just as the movement, which was sparked when Mrs. Parks refused to go along, was feared.

We need to restore the Republic, not install a new form of dictatorship under the guise of fake Democracy and Socialism, or worst of all, Fascism.

My biggest fear in all that is happening in the country is during this *destabilization* period the youth will go so far left.... I mean the OWS demands are very socialistic but many of the youth find Communism *noble* read it here at ATS....

My fear is the destabilizing to such an extreme left is an indicator that when the stabilizing period kicks it it will be an equally HARD shove to the right....

Enter Fascism.... add to that the Nazi's were the protest's backers first employer and well...............
