hi mate, as far as I'm aware, i could be wrong of course. that low altitude afterburners can only be used in a government authorized emergency scramble, they have to do this for insurance purposes as the scramble may cause ground damage such as windows.

I dont think at this time its only exercise's, there has been reports on the other side of the pond in colorado, kansas, boston MA, california and boston lincolnshire,uk as well as where i live near USAFRAF fairford.

There does seem to be more activity than during the 2nd iraq war here in terms of scrambles, fleet deployment etc considering its meant to be decomm'ed and we also have an ever increasing amount of U.S troops in gloucester city due to another base USAFRAF innsworth 5 miles away(meant to be a filing depot/library) LOL i dont think so.

With the amount of U.S kit above us and lack of U.K kit, the amount of U.S troops wandering around our city in full uniform, i feel there is an underlying purpose, such as threat, protection of a hidden target etc, we also have no less that 4 intel bases in gloucestershire too. one of them is obvious, the other three are very well hidden.

i know there is imminent military course within the middle east, but these scrambles are all heading (my guess) mid Atlantic not the med, now i did hear that Iran was gonna send some destroyers to the atlantic near U.S borders a few weeks ago, but i'm guessing they are smack in the middle of the pond, right in no mans waters.

Is there a stand off being played out not far off both shores?

also an update, the very odd noises are still appearing and are not patterned in schedule and in some cases getting louder.

Interesting....But I'm in a little town in Warwickshire, England, this town is no good for anything so where these noises are coming from this end I don't know and since it's being heard in various places around the world it could be anything. I personally have a few ideas on what they are that people have already posted, truth is, it could be anything and everything that we've thought of but 'they' will never tell so we'll just sit here assuming like we do on a lot of things lol

what really amazes me about these very odd very loud sky bound noises, is peoples reactions to the sounds, faces of confusion, terror lol and a sore neck! but thats as far as jo public is taking it, no one seems to tell friends or families, not even me hehe, no media is investigating.

Some of my idea's:-

there coming from the ground - crust destablization maybe
something is up with our atmosphere - the blue is a lot paler these days
secret classified aircraft using BAE cloaking system
LOL aliens are here
or some kind of mass subliminal comms system - people are beginning to riot, civil unrest, protest

I'm not considered 'normal' which I am perfectly fine with (just because space, UFO's, all that unexplained stuff interests me more than anything else) so I get into this kind of thing whereas everyone else in my family care about themselves and materialistic things. Nothing else. So it would be pointless trying to explain any of this to them. They're horrible, horrible people (most of them) so I wouldn't even want to bother.

The skies are very interesting as of late (more so than before) and I do believe something (what that is yet, who knows) will happen soon so it could be from that. It sounds more underground to me personally, just loud enough for us to hear/feel it as if it were happening right in front of us. Digging further underground, expanding whatever safe place they have, aliens digging up from wherever maybe lol, I don't know. It sure as hell isn't normal though and I won't believe a word 'they' say even if they did offer some form of lame explanation.

you could well be right on underground bunkers or tunnels, Gloucester is rife with them, like for instance G*** has a tunnel all the way to gloucester BT exchange. please dont ask. also we are sat on porous cavernous limestone, so it is very easy to drill.

on a separate note, this could well explain the odd sinkholes appearing worldwide such as the one in italy, their tunneling too close to the surface, hence we hear it. would also explain the nuclear seismic signatures demonstrated in the U.S. begs the question what do they know that we dont!

The Cotswolds aren't that cavenous (hence the lack of caves round here) and anyway, GCHQ is on the Severn plain and not on limestone at all.

And as for underground bunkers, the main one is just up the road from me.

www.independent.co.uk...

Officially, it was intended to be the BBC/Govt broadcast center in event of an invasion or other event forcing the evacuation of London. Unofficially, who knows?

Just thought you guys may want some clarification...

The only aircraft movements (outside of RIAT) that have taken place at RAF Fairford this year are listed here:
www.fightercontrol.co.uk...

Discussion on all movements can be found here: www.fightercontrol.co.uk...

Yes in our case RAF/USAF fairford, all the usual suspects fly in and out of here daily and fully loaded, often escort aircrafts by apache and black hawks

Said 'usual suspects' do not exist. RAF Fairford is in a care and maintenance status, the airfield is on standby to be activated within 12 hours, if needed, however on a day to day basis do not accept aircraft, the airfield and it's airspace has to be activated via NOTAM (Notice to Air Men) before accepting aircraft.

I'm not aware of any 'fully loaded' aircraft which are escorted by Apache's or Black Hawks visiting Fairford for the previous three or so years.
